Updated Review:

First of all, I'm really not THAT into V-Tubers.
I do watch them from time to time whenever they pass through my algorithm.

This game is completely free, playable offline, is a rogue-like, has waifu gatcha mechanics (which surprisingly doesn't monetize anything, since u only need collect "coins" purely by playing) and lastly, contains cute pixel graphics of V-Tubers.

It's got fishing, cooking, planting, building, and managing your staff.

As the saying goes: "If it ain't broke; don't fix it".

This game had so much potential, a loyal fanbase, rich story and lore, it had everything going for it... all they had to do was deliver and not f*k it up.

Everyone expected a DoW 1 or 2 game with better systems, improved pathing and modern graphics, instead they tried to make it into a sh*tty e-sports MOBA-type game with no soul, they stripped the game of everything that made the 1st and 2nd games special.

If you check Steam's stats even DoW1 (Soulstorm) has more active players than DoW3, that should give u an idea with what went wrong with the game.

Just look at DoW1 (Soulstorm), hell, even the modding community is still thriving to this day... and they improved the game and provided more to replayability than the devs actually providing content for this game, I say again MODS!

A nice coop heisting game to have in your library, can both be fun and frustrating with friends. Also, I initially got the game for free, played it with friends, liked it, bought DLCs now I have a "few" hours into it...

--=====[ EDIT ]=====--

changed my review, not recommended anymore.. adding a subscription model for the game is wild, as if the prices of amount DLCs weren't crazy already. Whoever approved this ruined any trust I have left. I won’t support anything related to OVERKILL or STARBREEZE going forward.

you greedy mfkrs, you weren't content with fking up PAYDAY3, now you fk up PAYDAY2 for everyone else, fk you, I hope ur company goes into debt.

This is one of my favorite ARPGs, alongside Diablo II & Torchlight series.

Pros:
• Consumer-friendly; is definitely worth even at full price.
• A vibrant modding community to customize your experience.
• Zero micro-transactions and in-game cash shops, just pure gameplay.
• A stable internet connection is NOT required, no internet? no problem!
• No aggressive always-online DRM to deal with, so enjoy full offline play!
• Single-player story campaign filled with fascinating and enjoyable secrets and lore.
• Multi-player co-op LAN and online modes are available - pvp, trading, questing, etc.
• Loyalist DLCs are mostly cosmetics if you like supporting the devs and enjoy the game.
• Expansion DLCs add even more content, cosmetics, items - all of which are definitely worth it.

Cons:
• Not Diablo Immortal - Do You gUyS Not hAve PhOnEs?
• Not all dialogues are voiced, which may lead to lengthy text sections. however, the story remains enjoyable (this is a me problem, am just a lazy mf).

Plays just like the first one, but better in many ways.

Very satisfying to play with friends, one of the must have survival coop games in your library.

Probably one of the best third-person WH40k game out there, it captures the aesthetics of being an OP space marine in a grimdark setting, if you're a WH40k fan you should definitely pick this up... the singleplayer is awesome and I still play it from time to time to relieve stress.

Although the multiplayer coop & PVP in this game is below average, it can be pretty fun to a certain degree, but sadly you can barely find matches anymore unless you have friends to play with, there are a few communities that are dedicated to keeping this game's multiplayer alive though.

I just wish it had a sequel... :(
