I have put so much time into skyrim, from the very first edition to this special edition. By far it was one of the greatest games of its time, until bethesda decided to mess it up BAD. one of the key features of keeping skyrim alive was its modding community. from basic new weapons, perk overhauls, and mods that made it look so much more beautiful to giant castles and homes for players. no one could wish for a better single player experience where you could add almost anything you wanted into this game. with the "release" of the Anniversary Edition, which is just an update for the Special Edition since it applys the same changes anyways, plugins and hooks no longer worked. some of my most loved mods gone in a flash. do i think this is a great game? absolutely. but will i recommend this to my friends? I hate to say not anymore.
