Only good thing this game has going for it is its cinematics.

Everything else is the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from MW5:Mercs

-Dumb ♥♥♥♥ AI copy pasted from Mercs
-Game throwing you into a bottomless pit of nonstop enemies just like Mercs
-Upgrades that don't feel impactful
-Useless weapons that either put yourself at risk or team mates (flamethrower, short laser, machine guns, etc.)
-Mechlabs somehow being inferior to a free mod for MW5:Mercs

DLC is great from a narrative point of view and the new Clan mechs/Tech are great additions.

But whoever decided the balance of things in regular contract missions in Clan territory is an actual tard. It is NOT fun having to deal with swarms of fast moving mechs around every corner before you even get to your first objective. Even if you do make it to your objective then you might end up dealing with the swarm of murder hornets known as elementals. Don't expect your AI teammates to be of any help in all of this either because all they will do is bang their head against the wall and absolutely let all the enemy mechs walk right past them to ♥♥♥♥ you over six ways to sunday. Using Clan Tech/Weapons against these new enemies does help but it's simply not enough when your are the only one pulling your weight.

I'd only recommend getting this DLC if you have three friends to help you out because the AI will not.

I've been a part of this series since Girls' Frontline 1 came out to global back in 2018 and it was fun seeing the story unfold. So when this game was announced I was excited for more, but like all good things people enjoy, it gets ruined by greed, ego, pride.

When GFL2 first came out, I enjoyed it a lot, it had some rough edges but I was enjoying the story and seeing the characters with their new 3D models join the crew. As time went on however those rough edges never improved, it wasn't until Klukai came out that I started to see how repetitive the game had become.

That's literally every event introduced since Day 1, this game has become nothing more than genshin levels of story telling with some Mario party mini games sprinkled in. There is no longer any tactical thinking or planning from the first game, every problem in this game can be solved with Klukai. It's so stupidly easy it's not even funny, and with CN servers introducing AK-15 it just gets even worse.

While the skin gacha is a huge problem that devs are basically quadrupling down (still over $100 btw) on now, it just brought to light the many issues actually plaguing this game such as the following:

-Gunsmoke is still a pile of repetitive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
-Game is too easy with no planning or thinking required
-Certain characters are stupid OP
-Storytelling is not up to quality with its predecessor
-Events are all the same
-Events not getting added to the main game quick enough so new players have to go to youtube to get up to speed

It really is sad to see a game series I loved that catered to its niche audience become nothing more than another trend chaser. All of this could've been avoided, but the devs got greedy and it caused you to lose yet another player.

Game is pretty good for what I was able to play. But I cannot continue further on account of one scene that consistently causes a crash that prevents me from progressing further in the story.

I've tried, reinstalling, verifying integrity of the game files, using the beta branch of the game and nothing works. If the technical issues are fixed I would love to revisit and finish the game and move on to the other entries in the series. So until these issues are fixed (if ever) don't bother buying this buggy mess.

Buy this instead of Aspyr's garbage excuse of a port

One of the best open world space games out there and it ain't even close. NMS has come a long way since it's rocky launch, if you haven't played it since launch I recommend giving it another chance.

The best game I ever played from my childhood. Get this version instead of Aspyr's sorry excuse of a port.
