This game is up there alongside some of my favorite multiplayer games, it's doesn't require me to spend 5 million hours to play it which is great for me as I don't have as much time as I used to 10 years ago and this game makes it feel like I don't get left behind which I appreciate.

I feel that this game had a lot of potential, that's been wasted by the developers greed, ancient bugs don't get fixed and the devs keep pushing DLCs while completely ignoring everything else, and regarding the DLC, it takes everything that made the game unique and just threw it away, it turns the game into a nightmarish experience with the time it takes to travel being absolutely painful and in general, the progression is so linear that you don't have any room for choice it feels like, whereas the base game allows you to progress in many different ways which was why this game appealed to me in the first place.

This game has fun gameplay, is very story rich and in general, surprised me with everything it was able to challenge me with, because the game doesn't fully hold your hand which I do appreciate, but it doesn't try to screw you over either, it's a nice balance between both, I recommend this game because I feel like this is one of the rare games that would speak to a wide audience in a good way.

The game is absolutely phenomenal, it changed my view on Metroidvanias permanently, as it was a genre I never really cared for before playing this game, try this game if you haven't yet, I truly think it's amazing

Haven't finished the game yet, however I can confidently say that this game is absolutely amazing, from the art to the gameplay itself, you can tell the developers put a lot of effort into the game.
The game is difficult in a way that feels nice, the feeling of beating a boss is great and it feels rewarding too.
Overall, Team Cherry did a wonderful job on this game, I recommend playing it if you're interested in platformers, and even if you're not, it might be worth a try!

Cannot recommend this game until they address the performance issues of the game, the gameplay is alright, but the performance issues completely offset that upside, the game visually doesn't even look that good either.
