Fun game! Well worth the money. A bit rough around the edges.. I never used the mining ducks?? I guess I didn't need them..

Thank you for making this!

I kind of expected some of this in the base game, but for $10 extra dollars, I think the full sticker price is still worth it to me.

Very strange game, but I like it a lot for it. It feels very GSG/4X but it also seems to mutate a lot. There is a lot to discover and many choices to make that creates a pull to perform multiple playthroughs just to see what the outcome would be. It's much more narrative driven and the plot is very open ended and unique than the usual GSG fare.

My only gripe is that units are kind of hard to see in the UI, even in Street View it's kind of a pain.

Duckov is a top down extraction shooter developed by a team with their wing on the pulse. They know exactly what makes their game fun, and the parody is absolutely on point if you've played any Tarkov at all. The game manages to nail all the excitement and challenge of a looter shooter along with satisfying meta progression. It allows pausing, and loads very quickly between runs. The mod support is also fantastic and I suggest checking out the workshop once you have a few hours under your belt.

I highly suggest picking this up.

I haven’t seen an apt portrayal of the reprehensible nature of war and the psychological toll often swept under the rug by most games since Spec Ops: The Line.

This is a fascinating game that feels like a mashup of Death Stranding, Myst, and a touch of Resident Evil-style puzzles. I’m hesitant to call it a souls-like because, although combat is prevalent, it’s not the main focus. However, you can customize settings such as losing items on death or enemy difficulty if you want. The game is very narrative-driven, which some interpret as weak gameplay. However, the mystery and discovery demand a level of curiosity often missing in today’s waypoint-driven games. There’s no “go here and do this” mechanic. Instead, you’re expected to piece together what you need to do. While not exactly groundbreaking, I appreciate the direction this takes the game.

You are encouraged to meander and retrace your steps. This can be frustrating for some and might be seen as a time-waster. This game is not for those people. The gameplay itself is quite solid, though don’t expect a deep variety of enemies. The focus is more on puzzles and curiosity. Dispatching enemies becomes easier over time, and the game doesn’t throw too much at you because it’s designed to complement the puzzles you need to solve. The combat adds a subtle pressure and sense of failure that underpins your investigation of the in-universe events.

The narrative is excellent and resonates well with today’s climate of mindless online vitriol, spite, and other overwhelmingly negative emotions. The game isn’t violent from a combat perspective, but it is narratively. There are scenes and topics that are difficult to stomach. It lays bare the raw flotsam of the human race and explores the consequences of war and hate with a fantastic supernatural twist.

I highly recommend picking this up.

This game is hard. But it is lovingly crafted. The music and spritework are top notch and gives the game a ton of staying power. Many turn based tactical games don't go the length that Quasimorph goes. The setting is grotesque, and is so well executed. The macabre feeling invoked by this game is horribly unique, and it's a great horror that is shown instead of told.

The gameplay loop is very deep. The progression, universe building and mechanics are far more complex than I expected. I'm really enjoying it, and getting over the initial difficulty curve was well worth it.

It's a fun roguelike shooter. I wouldn't say there's anything special about it, but I enjoyed it more than others. The progression is fun, It's not *too* random, and the elemental and perk system is enjoyable.

Amazing game. It's the direction I had hoped Fallout would go. Game has some bugs, but I have mods installed to rectify issues I originally had with the game. The new AI is fun (albeit buggy), and the entire game is very immersive. Tarkov has far better gunplay but I'm not always ready for the "lose it all" gameplay of extraction shooters. The feel of the entire game is fantastic, and I highly suggest picking this up.
