Early Access Review
I love board games and PC strategy games. This feels like a very successful child of these two. In its core, it's a min-maxing game, similar in mechanics to some euro board games. But it's not a board game, it's something more.
It's an extremely addicting and satisfing turn-based strategy. It really itches that "just..one..more..turn" scratch.

+ Difficulty is properly scaled. On higher difficulties, I'm always sure I'm gonna lose in the next three turns. And somehow I manage to survive. That just feels amazing.
+ Setting is excellent, there are just not enough games of taming the red planet.
+ Mechanics are easy to learn, strategy is hard to master.
- Random nature of some elements (card draw, random events) sometimes screw you over, but that's just life. I believe devs are working on adding technology trees and other stuff that could limit the impact of randomness.

It is an early access, so there is more content yet to be added. Still, I have drowned more hours in it already than in most AAA games.
Stuff is being improved and balanced. Devs are working and responding to submissions. Very satisfied with the state of the game.

There are of course areas which need attention. But, man, usually, early access titles make me bored after a couple of hours. This, I just want to play indefinitely, until the whole planet is green, full of animal life and big, happy cities.
