I will recommend this to:

A person who can appreciate RPG mechanics, choice driven gameplay in a neat looking package.
A person who loves the classical eras and especially the intricate political aspects of them.
A fan of fantastic storytelling and characterization rivaling Tolkien himself.

This game has to be as up your alley as it was for me. I truly can say that in my past 2 years nothing has gripped me quite as much as this game has. After just finishing a playthrough and getting greeted with one of the sweetest ending sequences a game can provide, it has truly been my pleasure to finish this masterpiece of a story. I truly wish only for people to glance upon this the way I randomly found this game and got into it from the minute I saw a gladiator jump down from a mast almost declaring we were either going to live as best friends or die sad.

+ Gameplay especially the rpg/basebuilding/mechanical base is sublime and rooted.
+ Map detail and characters is nice to look at and certainly not without it's charms.
+ Getting to put your own twist on the times of Julius ceasar and the multiple conquests of rome is enticing enough as is.
+ The way your choices unfold is so evidently satisfying I might go back to see what I could have changed. Great for replayability for sure!

criticisms:
- There might be one particular questline that really felt like true pain to complete. A bit of a blemish on an otherwise game set of questlines.
- Battles although they were a great feature could be slightly better explained, especially how each aspect affects the outcome of battle so that you realize early on enough that your commanders dying is a fairly manageable endeavour if treated right.

Great story, keeps you on your toes the entire time. Great game to puzzle out with a partner. Great props for all the little details in the map. It truly made the game that little bit more special to me.

Great fun.

I am already saying this as it is still not a fully released game, this game already has a lot of fun mechanics that blend really well with the Half life 2 aspect.

The story is fairly rich in content and exploring new areas is definitely a blast. I do feel part of the chaos and the actual pressure to move up due to a lack of things to find is a great way to push forward.

Overall it still needs a lot of polish, but it is already shiny as a half life esque survivalist game!

8/10; Definitely recommend it especially if you have a mate to play with. Working together is half the life of this game ;)!

Feedback: Please make heavy more weapons feel viable before getting a crowbar!

A wonderful entry/dive into the world of the SCP foundation. The game is a narrative experience which to me captures the essence of what makes SCP so fascinating. That being that everything has rules, *but not the same rules*. You get to feel like a kid discovering the rules of the universe for the first time again as you waddle your way through all these fantastical stories. I think it is worth the pick-up!

ENJOY THYSELF!

This is an absolute win!

Just played 2 rounds with friends and it took us no time to get engrossed in the wonders of this space opera, where everything happens in the blink of an eye. It truly is a game of stellaris condensed within an hour - 2,5 hours!

warning from the get go. Your first game, much like a boardgame, will take much longer to get used to the mechanics. But afterwards this game flows like butter!

really recommend this!

Space Opera with so many levels of depth to it's gameplay. It'll surprise you even after 10 runs.

Fantastic game. Even if in early acces they went all out on the gameplay already! It can only go up from here and I am waiting for that with all my heart!

This game plays great. The ultimately complex concept of a 50v50 is done beautifully in the structure of the teams and command units. It arguably is the best aspects of battlefield and Arma done into a game. There is somewhat of a learning curve to anything, but nothing so complex you wouldn't understand it in 5 minutes.

Not beginner friendly to FPS players. But certainly a good entry into Millitary simulation games. And for people looking to play battlefield a little more seriously. Love it! (Plus humble monthly right now has it for 10 bucks) Worth a pickup

This game looks smooth, talks smooth, and gets it's time and place correct. It's a magnificent jump back into the past. With fun tidbits about the history of America in those days. It has a subtle but clear way of telling the story. The underestimated female trope is a good one. It's definitly a title I'd like to see more from.
