Nothing is original in this game.

Very disappointing.
90% of all side quest are fetch quest, which is “hey i lost my hat at a bandit camp, can u go get it”
You drive there for 5 minutes u fight bandits for 5 to15 minutes, you take the hat and drive back 5 minutes and that's the quest. wack and boring. WHY… WHY!!! did they make the booster only last 5 seconds WHY!!!

The main story is pretty much Far cry 5 but worse, u got 3 areas with resistance groups struggling to fight back the bad guy, u come in and help them out by killing the main bad guy for that area… 3 times you do that. hell, nothing changes. Just copy paste quest design. Do that 3 times then u can fight the main villain, but wait…. there's a big twist or 2… whatever.
They really tried to pull a Far cry on us with that “finale boss” “the main villain” he talks to us every so often… like in Farcry 3,4,5 and 6. and many other games alike

you keep meeting old characters from other games which is the best part of the whole game, but they did that in every other Borderlands game, everyone was expecting that, so there's nothing new here. No new characters are interesting, I don't remember any of them.

ohh And THE SOUNDTRACK is bad. no spice to it, non! At some point i mute the soundtrack just to listen to the old stuff from the other games.

There are only 3 different types of enemies, there's the bandits, the ancient ones(or whatever they are called) and wild animals (slightly re-skined depending on the area). You only fight these types of enemies, no re-skins nor nothing same move set n stuff, just the same enemies over and over. In Borderlands 3 there are many different looking enemies you fight, even if it was just a re-skin of other enemies, it still felt nice and special for that area or planet.

I really don't understand why they chose to make an open world game on one planet. That's such a boring and overused concept. They should have kept the same vibe as they did with borderlands 3. many smaller areas on different planets. it kept me wondering “what will be the next planet? What will it look like? What kind of enemies will I be fighting? That kept me invested in that game. But here there's nothing I'm invested in, I could’ve seen all the different areas in the beginning of my playthrough, nothing kept me guessing what was coming next.

Guns feel almost the same as borderlands 3, the sound of them are a little flat, but other then that its almost the same

The last complaint I have is lack of sanctuary, a place where you can gear up and get ready for adventure, there are outposts in different areas but they don't feel like home. They don't feel special like that
