After playing the Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 on Steam, I gave WD: Michonne a go aswell.

Compared to the earlier games, this one is really short. With less than four hours of gameplay I was a bit disappointed. Michonne is a cool character though, that deserves her own game and story arc. Sadly the story is pretty simple and not that engaging (I am reminded of protecting Clementine in WD Season 1, which was amazing). I didn't really understand why she was so traumatised by losing her daughters, but not her husband. Plothole or maybe some weird feminist BS? I'm only guessing. The side characters are pretty unimportant and lame to be honest, maybe as a consequence of the short storyline. Another slightly frustrating thing was that you're unable to change controls in this game. As someone that lives in a country where 'AZERTY'-keyboards are the standard, it was a bit annoying.

Generally this game won't/didn't age well. If Telltale wants to stay succesful, it's time for more immersive and free gameplay with longer and more engaging storylines.

EDIT: it is called a miniseries, so that one is on me. I can recommend this game if you don't expect too much of it, like the Walking Dead Telltale series and get it at a very low price (<€4).

I have played Commandos 2 HD Remaster for only five hours as I'm writing this, which was definitively long enough to have a good opinion. I have played Commandos 2 at least half a dozen of times in my life (I grew up with it), of which two or three playthroughs were on Steam (which took about 80 hours). Because of this, I think I know pretty well what I'm writing about and so here goes.

This game has a lot of BUGS. Just playing about five hours I made a small list here with the largest annoyances and bugs alike:
- double clicking the numeral of a character does not take you to his location (=/ original)
- when you have your knife for example ready and you open a door, the knife goes away and you have to reselect it.
- the menu of items at your side is really annoying: in the original you could just hoover your mouse above a type of item like weapons and it would unfold and you could select whatever you need. In the remaster you have to click a tiny arrow to unfold it and click it again to close it after finding your item.
- the inventory of characters has many bugs. Some items clunk over each other after which you cannot move them. Sometimes you move items to other characters, which is undone when you double check (this happens especially when you try to move say 2/10 nades with 5/10 nades in another character). It is also impossible to change the spy's officers uniform to another type of officer after you have grouped them together.
- the face of the character doesn't change while carrying a body with the exception of the green baret. It is nice that you can see the green baret's face changing in the top menu as this was not the case in the original but this only works for the baret.
- when looking through a gate or door, that door loses its texture and just become a grey pixelated front through which you can't see anything.
- when using a ladder, the character freezes when arriving down-/upstairs and when it unfreezes it's suddenly done climbing.
- when entering a room, you get a black screen for about two seconds before the room is rendered.
- clicking is pretty inaccurate compared to the original. For example tying an enemy up or grabbing them to carry around has become more unclear and annoying to do. The same goes for checking the POV of an enemy.
- when you look through a door and an enemy walks through it, they don't get alarmed.
- some mission specific bugs I noticed playing 'Das Boot Silent Killers' was that I couldn't throw nades on the water mines. Another bug was the fact that after the commando had landed the parachute symbol was still there and could be used to land again an invisible character which would alarm guards.

These are some of the bugs I have encountered playing for a relatively short time. The HD Remaster has some nicer textures when it comes to the characters and enemies, but that's about it and you're paying a high price for it: clunky gameplay, many bugs and overall a failure compared to the original. I also cannot help but be annoyed by the fact that they removed the Japanese flag and swastikas from the game for whatever reason. Apart from all this, it would have been the least thing to do to build an extra mission new to the game as the player is paying extra for this (under-developed) game.

Kalypso has disappointed and I cannot recommend to play this game at all. I would definitely recommend the ORIGINAL GAME however, that you can also buy on Steam for a lower price and is an awesome experience compared to this cash-grab version. I am happy I only paid about two euro's for this game in a bundle as it would be a waste of money to spend €20 on this. Actions speaks louder than words and it says it all that all these bugs and uneasy play mechanics are still in place, despite the game coming out almost TWO YEARS AGO. I'll play through this whole game once, and next time I want to play Commandos II again, I'll play the original with a lot of joy and nostalgia, much more so than this remaster could offer me.

Thanks for reading.

I've started playing Killing Floor in 2014 when two friends of mine were playing it a lot. I recently (May 2021) started playing Killing Floor again for nostalgia and achievements. I've also played KF2 so I will compare it a bit.

Killing Floor is like Left 4 Dead but much more skillful. You will have to spend hours and hours of playing with a perk to get the hang of it and be able to play on the highest difficulties: Suicidal and especially Hell on Earth. I can honestly say that after 250+ hours of playing, I am still only moderate at this game in 75% of the perks and still suck at the rest of 'em. It is really fun to gain the experience and precision to be able to play this game on HoE, however it can also make it less accesible for new players. At the moment of writing this I can say there are still a few dozen people playing KF on a daily basis and most of them are quite friendly and are from Eastern-Europe (Russia, Poland, Ukraine, etc); not sure if there's a correlation hehe.

Compared to KF2 or any other co-op I've ever played, I must say that the maps on KF are simply enormous. I still get lost all the time and have to base my sense of direction on mild doubt. Some maps are also really dark so you won't be able to see sh*t unless you use your flashlight which in many cases makes you use the 9mm pistol which is quite useless on the higher difficulties. Changing your gamma will help a lot unless you like the natural absence of light in basements and the like. A cool thing about KF is that there are a lot of custom/player-made maps (even though only a few play them these days). For example someone rebuild the whole of Helmsdeep where Two Towers ends (with Gandalf storming down the hill with the Rohirrim). Weapons in KF are quite nice but also simple and limited. Per perk there are about 10 weapons available although you can use other perk weapons at the same time, they just cost more. Leveling your perks is also really reaaaaally slow. After 250 hours, I still have two perks at lvl 4 (out of 6 lvls) and using a perklvling custom map helps but it still takes a lot of patience and effort, especially compared to KF2.

For people who like to perfect games (100% achievements) I think Killing Floor is quite fun but at the same time quite exhausting. You'll have to play every map on every difficulty (Normal, Hard, Suicidal and HoE) and unlike KF2 you won't get the normal achievement when you finish the same map on Hard. A lot of achievements are also event-based (Halloween, Christmas, Hillbilly etc) so you'll have to wait until a specific period to be able to get them unless you find a server which always has for example Christmas zeds on. A couple of achievements require you to buy other games from the same developer (Tripwire) which sucks.

Conclusion
If you liked KF2 or co-op zombie games in general, KF might be what you're looking for. You can probably buy it with all the DLCS for just a few euros. Don't expect the game to hold your hand and guide you through the experience: this game is like getting circumcised only they cut your balls off too or like drinking wodka only the wodka is actually sulfuric acid. Recommended (if you like misery, depression and pain)!

Just Cause 3 is basically its predecessor but with greatly updated graphical design, a slightly bigger and more interesting story - not that hard to achieve since the JC2 only had about 7 storyline missions - with cringy dialogues and national archetypes (the smooth cowboy-American, the passionate Italian etc), all packed in a mediterranean jacket.

It's a whole lot of fun but you might get tired of the repetitiveness of liberating cities and military bases, finding collectibles and shooting Di Ravello's elite corps of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after twenty to thirty hours of gameplay.

Despite this, I really like JC3 and would recommend to give it a shot! Don't play it for the story, but play it for the action!

This game is truly amazing. When I first started playing it, I uninstalled it after 5 minutes because the gameplay seemed rather sh*tty. After a few months, I gave it another chance and I really started to like Saints Row The Third. The game features various number of activities like vehicle thefts, assasinations and tank mayhams which include you to simply blow everything up. Another nice feature of this game is that you are able to make decisions in the game. For example, to complete 'Act 1' you can either choose to blow up a building or keep it for your gang (and get some extra cash). The main purpose of this game is that you and your gang (The Saints) take over the four city districts. You can do that by doing storyline missions, but also by simply buying buildings in the city. I really enjoyed this game, and next time Saints Row IV is in sale, I won't doubt to buy it!

Saints Row The Third could be the Jersey Shore version of GTA, but with a f*cking weird theme (BDSM, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ amongst others) and maybe less options (no fitness, no going to McDonalds and the horses races) and clunkier driving. Every game is going to look ♥♥♥♥♥♥ compared to GTA, though I believe Saints Row deserves its spot of its own.
