S+ Tier cozy content. Great for unwinding and hanging out with friends or even just throwing up on a second monitor.

The main fishing system is simple enough on its own to support a decent bit of playtime and is only further enhanced by a fairly satisfying progression and upgrade system.

These upgrades give players a lot of freedom in choosing how they want to play the game and what kind of experience they'll get. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at how much was in the game at a glance.

Want more intractability with the fishing minigame? There's a lure for that.
Don't want to have to constantly be paying attention? There's also a lure for that.
Feel like you need some extra cash? Grab a fishing buddy from the shop that'll periodically catch extra fish for you.

Apart from those upgrades, there are more standard ones that'll generally make the game easier but also enable you to catch the rarer (and by extension, more difficult to catch) fish.

When you get tired of fishing, there also seem to be some secrets and other non-fishing activities available. Metal detecting, boxing (a griefer's favorite), mysterious bones, or even a fairly complex guitar system to name a few.

I've barely scratched the surface and I feel like I've already got my money's worth and can't wait to play it some more with folks. Honestly such a steal for $5.
