IMPORTANT EDIT (1/20/2026):

Recent information has came out about the developers actively refusing to ban a well-known pedophilic member in their community because it "didn't occur in our in-game chats or server".

AVOID THIS GAME. DO NOT SUPPORT IT. Do NOT let your children play it either. It's clear the developers don't mind giving pedophiles direct access to a fanbase full of children.

Pros:

- For the most part, the basics of the game are easy to understand on the surface after playing 10 or 20 matches.
- The movement (which basically only consists of utilizing Super Jump Rolls) is satisfying once you master it.
- Customization options are aplenty, good if you want to recreate your fursona or a specific character.
- Sound design is amazing.

Cons:

- Where's the level/skill-based matchmaking? For a battle royale game, I think it's frustrating how this isn't a thing. In order to learn as a beginner, you have to constantly throw yourself at the brick wall of experienced players who have been playing for 2+ years already. You literally cannot blame yourself for losing your first few 20+ matches since the "matchmaking" works by throwing all currently available players into a pile. This is NOT a good way to introduce people to your game, and it does more harm than good.
And as of the SAW update's release, this has STILL gone unchanged.

- This community is genuinely full of the most mean-spirited people I've seen in any game I've ever played. This is further supported by the Discord server, who's moderation is incredibly biased and anti-criticism. People I've seen who rightfully critiqued its community for being incompetent were nearly always insulted/ignored, then kicked or banned afterwards. Even I got warned for agreeing with one of these banned members on their critiques. The developers only acknowledge praise and respond with hostility to those who dare call out their "wholesome" community for openly welcoming awful people. If you're going to still join for updates, don't even touch the General chat or its Feedback Forum.

- Emus and Hamster Balls are still in desperate need of balancing. Emus are practically a second health bar, so Emu Jockeys are prominent in matches. They'll chase you around on one, and after you're finally done killing their Emu and need to reload, they double tap you with a shotgun. As for Hamster Balls, even gently brushing against a player in one is enough to remove 90% of your HP. In the direct path of one? Too bad, kiss all of your health goodbye.
Emus were also practically buffed in the SAW update, making it so you don't even have to get off of them to loot items anymore.

- Leveling up feels less like a slog now, but the XP you get from some of the more difficult quests is pitiful. Pass progression is slightly more tolerable, but still extremely slow.

- Constant lagspikes on the servers' end makes playing the game well extremely difficult. A good opponent should be the least of your worries when you can get hit by ghost bullets any time. (Typing /netdata in chat makes it so you can view your packet loss, so if your game suddenly teleports you around the map, you can see why.)

- Don't bother queuing up with randoms for Squads/Duos, It barely works out. If you want to queue up with occasionally competent teams, you'll have to go into the Discord server. (I've already said my words on the server, so I won't add more.)

- Two years. Two years for this update. Was it worth it? No.
For how long this took, this is an extremely unengaging and disappointing update. It's game-changing, sure, but for all the wrong reasons.
The quests are nearly all fetch quests. "Go here then come back to me." "Can you deliver this item to (NPC)?" It's all shockingly boring for such a seemingly "alive" world. You rarely ever get items for doing these missions either, it's usually either an incredibly small sum of coins, or a tiny amount of XP. What makes this worse is the fact they're timegated, which means once you're done with one repetitive quest, you have to wait a whole. 'nother. day to do the next repetitive task. I wouldn't be too upset over this if the quests were actually engaging.
Matchmaking takes far longer than it did before. I previously praised this game for its fast matchmaking times, but now it can take upwards to 2 whole minutes to find a lobby, even during peak hours!
BR (Battle Royale) and LTMs (Limited Time Modes) have gone completely unchanged on release (With the exception of a VERY minor tweak to how gas works in BR). So many individuals hoped for changes with these modes and for some, it was the main reason they waited so long for this update. Bwoking Dead and SvR are the ones mostly in need of changes, since these modes are considered extremely flawed and tedious by a sizable amount of people.
The UI overhaul did far more harm than good. Everything takes place in the Social Hub now, which means basic tasks like changing outfits requires you to go into the hub. The BananOS is so bafflingly cluttered and confusing to navigate that I question how it got past playtesting.

There's so much more that's just plain wrong with SAW, but to be honest, I really do not feel like typing it out.

Needless to say, the game now is a huge downgrade of what it used to be. It had flaws, but those flaws have only gotten so much worse with the update.

(TL;DR: A game with a clever concept that was unfortunately executed poorly. Avoid the community at all costs. Game isn't worth playing anymore.)

Initially, I was afraid on picking up this game. I LOVE rodents of all kind, but I had no idea how to play Picross.
Thankfully, I realized it had a free demo (which transfers your progress to the full version, by the way!) and played it, and when I was done with that, I immediately bought the full version with no regrets.

First off, this game is extremely beginner friendly. As I stated before, I had no prior knowledge of nonograms before playing this game. The tutorial guides you through the basics in an understandable and not repetitive way. The game doesn't taunt or tease you for mistakes, which I appreciate. There's no drastic learning curve or insanely hard levels (From what I've seen at least, I haven't made it that far yet to be fair), and it lets you move at your own pace with no punishment for messing up or using constant hints from your little rodent pal. <3

The music is well-composed and calm. It's not bothersome when you have to listen to it for a while when struggling on a puzzle, AND you can even skip the song if you want to.

The customization options are aplenty, and accessories aren't too hard to get. For a home designing game, this one hits every good spot. The rooms you get are very spacious and versatile which leads to being able to make some amazing scenery and cozy places you wish you could have in real life.

If you like nonograms and want a cute twist on it, or if you're willing to get into it as a beginner, this game is definitely for you! Zero complaints here. I'll gladly be here for more updates and content. Cheers!
