At this point I would rather be addicted to something less damaging to my life, like heroin. 11/10 game, keep making more Oberron skins.

Quest? Quest! Is a wonderfully entertaining game featuring a cute and charming cast of characters, an interesting combat system, and a story you'll want to play until the very end. And then you'll want to play it again. Comparisons can easily made to Undertale, but I wouldn't call it an homage or inspiration, even with the magic skeletons, hidden metaplot involving cycles of you playing the game, a pacifism option in combat, and an emphasis on making friends along the way to stop a tragedy. I would simply call it in the same genre or style, something I hope more RPGs take note of and go through what Quest? Quest! does to make it their own.

Pros:
Wonderful Cast
Cute Characters (Especially the Lost Angry Jellyfish, too much!)
Sly writing in how the Endings are set up and expectations of the genre are subverted. The first time playing I thought I got all the hints and did the right thing, only to be proven wrong. Which was refreshing to me.
Stats and abilities being tied to your various swords is a great way to handle such a thing while keeping it story focused.

Cons:
Once you find the Onyx Edge, you win combat forever. Hold Block, Keep your Special up and get in close to attack. Alternatively, just wait it out in a corner while spamming diplomacy while doing the block/special method. While combat certainly isn't much of a challenge enough to not push yourself to do more than that cheese strat or perhaps, even the focus of the game, the temptation to just keep going back to that was great.
An abrupt end. With a bit of a hint from the developer, I found the path to two of the secret endings. I won't divulge spoilers but playing through the game a second time you'll notice a queue to retrace your steps and what I interpret to be a sort of you "waking up" to the cycles that are hinted at down this path. Either way, once you find a "true" ending of sorts, the game just sort of resolves but in a bit of a hollow fashion. Like, the story itself is wanting to keep going but there wasn't enough time to put it in. And while it is quite frustrating, it is understandable.
The save system. While probably not an issue for the regular player, while going ending hunting I cam upon the issue that there was no in-game load option. Each time I would have to restart the game, not "exit to main menu", restart in order to hit the continue button from the main menu. The endings? Each would exit the game after ending.

TLDR; This is a fun experience, a great story I recommend that EVERYONE WHO READS THIS take the time as I did to see it through to at least their first of the four endings. At that point, if you saw the bait of more and want it? Take it. If you don't feel too inspired by the desire for more, but enjoyed yourself anyways than don't worry over it all too much.
