Borderlands 4 feels like a true evolution of the series, and honestly, it might be one of my favorite entries yet.

The gunplay is absolutely phenomenal !! Weapons feel powerful and satisfying, with each shot carrying real weight. Pair that with the character abilities, which are not only fun to use but also feel perfectly tuned, and you’ve got a gameplay loop that rarely gets old.

One of the biggest improvements is the movement system. The addition of the grappling hook, gliding, and double jump makes traversing the world an absolute blast. These mechanics don’t just add verticality and speed, they make exploration and combat encounters feel dynamic and fluid in a way the series hasn’t achieved before.

Moving to a more open-world design was a fantastic decision. Exploration feels rewarding, with plenty of side quests that are both engaging and cleverly written. The humor, which has always been a defining trait of Borderlands, hits harder than I expected this time around. Dialogue feels more natural, polished, and genuinely human, making interactions with NPCs a joy rather than a chore.

The endgame content is another highlight. It’s rewarding without being a grind-fest, giving a satisfying reason to keep coming back.

On the technical side, performance has been the biggest talking point. Personally, I’m running the game on a 5080 paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 32GB of ram, and my experience has been smooth with some tweaking. Getting 80–110 FPS depending on settings, or a stable 60–70 FPS at full ultra. That said, I completely understand the frustration for others on different setups. Performance issues are real but also fixable.

As for bugs, I’ve only run into minor issues, occasional animation hiccups, some map elements lingering when they shouldn’t, and a few co-op problems like the encore machine not spawning for one player. Thankfully, these are nothing game-breaking and usually solvable with a quick restart.(or going back to the main menu in most cases)

In the end, Borderlands 4 is an amazing addition to the franchise. It nails the core Borderlands formula while expanding it in meaningful ways.
The devs clearly put their heart into it, and it shows. If you’re a fan of the series or looter-shooters in general you’ll easily sink countless hours into this one.

Final Verdict: 9/10 (would be 10/10 once performance issues are ironed out).

CS:GO Review
Literally unplayable, full of closet cheaters. i don't recommend this piece of junk if you want to keep your sanity and want to not doubt every single player.
