Yeah that's fair but you'd be surprised about how many new players start their journeys on molded servers 😅. I'm personally a fan of servers like OSGN just for better long term play but vanilla is probably the best for newbies like you said. I'm from Australia so I'm not sure our chances of clashing are very high but I wish you well regardless. Good luck out there pirate!

@Aadmin I prefer the vanilla servers, as I thing that is where most new players start off. They are the most basic, and a lot of these tips and tricks apply across the spectrum of different server flavors, except for a few exceptions where server settings or admin mods change the game up. I usually play on the NA servers, either 1 or 2. NA 11 was my main until the warfare update. That's where DPG was born.

Hey Saxmo just read your guide for pirate survival and got to say even for someone with almost 1000 hours there was some good advice in there. I don't run a pirate faction alas, I run a government on OSGN but now I know some things to look out for! Hope to see you around in the depths of space!

you could turn off your medbay, set a timer block to turn your medbay back on after a couple minutes, and backspace to another medbay. I use that trick as a "transporter" for going back and forth between bases/ships.

Yo Saxmo. If you're done with the Zombiehouse2 Server, I want to turn off the Asteroid Base Survival Kit again... so's I can travel around without worrying about respawning back at the base.

Cool. Well.... Just look for "OLD" faction when the time comes. My favorite Plan B server is the Zombiehouse2. 1 Mod... 100x carrying capacity. You can carry a whole base in your backpack :)

I jump around on several servers since my Ping fluctuates due to a bad internet connection. im currently on Undying world. so far i'm the only steady player on there. Figured i'd give myself a headstart and get established before it gets popular.
