100+ FPS, all maxed at 1440p on a 4080 Super. Looks amazing. Are we all forgetting when Valve themselves were pushing the limits of graphics back in the day?

Upgrade and enjoy or just wait until you have something capable.

Brilliant update, nice new maps, way better performance with DLSS Quality and Auto frame gen on. I'm playing at 1440p with a lot less stutter. I even recorded some gameplay at 120 fps and had 150-180 fps the whole time.

Great. A couple of minor joining issues (with friends) on launch day but otherwise game runs very well.

Get out there and spread Democracy!

Needs some QOL but at its core this is probably the best Payday has been. Give it time.

UPDATE for 1.0.5 low fps in dynamic campaign seems to be fixed.

Writing based on patch 1.0.4.

The core gameplay is the best in the series, especially at launch. Free engineers for base building and auto reinforce are 2 new QoL features I can't do without now.

RIP Doctrines, good riddance. I'm very glad Relic have used CoH1 as the base of this one.

Major audio issues have already been fixed.

Dynamic Italian campaign is completable but FPS and load times are horrible at times. Expect 5+ minutes of loading after around turn 25, this applies to loading your save and exiting a skirmish, entering a skirmish is the usual 5-10 seconds. FPS can be anywhere from 5 to 25 fps on the world map regardless of progress. OK once you load into a skirmish. Gen 4 NVMe/5800x3D/3080.

The North Africa campaign worked fine just not long enough! Bring on the quality campaign DLCs. Can probably complete NA in 4-6 hours. Full map completion of Italy took around 20 hours.

Graphics still need some tweaking as they're a little wishy-washy but there's a re-shade to do just that until Relic patches it.

The game came free with my 5800X3D purchase but I'd already preordered based on excellent beta so more than happy to pay the price.

It shows great potential to be SWAT 5. AI needs work (and is receiving it) but for now, you can mod them to be less jank.

KS Backer, I want this game to be good, it has huge potential (hence the 160 hours) but as of now it is still little more than a tech demo. Fantastic sound design, visuals and controls but lacking gameplay and story. You will have to search and use wikis to know what to do and when. The 'what to do' is usually very tedious trading to earn money for the next ship to earn money faster to earn the next ship...

Seasons add very little value/content. What gets me playing for a couple of hours here and there is the VR support, boring space trucking is more palatible when you're 'in' space.
