This game shouldn't even need a recommendation; it's simply something that should be on any first-person shooter player's list.
Rock-solid gunplay, a good variety of enemies, a trend of teamwork without insta-gibbing lone wolves, and moddable support makes this a zombie shooter that's easily on-par with L4D2. With admittedly aging graphics and not as much depth in the non-modded game, it does have to be let out that this game isn't for every single person playing computer games out there, but the minor flaws in Killing Floor are completely covered up by everything they got right, and the continued developer support (as of the start of 2014) acts as the unneeded icing on the cake.
