I bought this game upon it's Early Access release, in late March of 2020. In the first week of playing, I put in almost 50 hours of play time. I stopped playing at that point because of the lack of feeling put into some of the quests at that point. I could truly see the "unfinished" part of the game and I could tell that it was early access, which is fine. I enjoyed my time playing and thought that 50 hours was a good enough amount of time to be satisfied with the game. I put it down for over a year before starting it up again. After playing almost 25 hours in the past few days, I can honestly say that this game is so much better now than it used to be, and I would still very much recommend that people play this game. The Mount & Blade series is amazing, and I find that this is a great sequel to Warband, which I spent over 200 hours playing. I'm happy that I got the game and I am very satisfied with the progress made by the developers over this year.

The game still plays well, even after an almost 2 year hiatus. The community is still toxic, but that is one of the main fun parts of the game. I would recommend not playing without prime because that opens you up to dealing with leagues of hackers.
