What can I say about Dark Souls 2 that hasn't already been said. Well I'd like to point out that this port is a whoooole lot better than the console port (how ironic right?) both in graphics and in fps rating. Also no GFWL thank freaking god.
Although when it comes to the interior of the game.
-They made helping others a lot more rewarding
-Anti farming mechanisms built in like the lack of mobs after 15 kills is a pretty tedious but slightly helpful mechanic to newbies.
-The PVE is absolutely fantastic and will still give you that insane challenge you got in dark souls 1 and demon souls.
-Certain homages to demon souls are seen within the game's mechanics such as the healing over time consumables and the total health cut punishment for dying is nice~

Cons:
-The PvP is currently pretty stupid atm due to the amount of unnecessary buffing they did to magic, miracles, hexes, and pyromancy. (Chivalrous knight ♥♥♥ here). I mean yeah in dark souls it was annoying too but usually you still had options and chances to dodge and block it. Here in this game...eh its kinda iffy since there are some spells that actually have too small of a dodge range. Its just a "oh well guess I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ regardless," moment.
-♥♥♥♥♥♥ soul memory. "Oh you want to play with your friend whose the same leve- OH GUESS YOU CAN'T cause your friend is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and has like 2 million souls on his/her record and you have like half a million...

9/10 I still had had a magnificient experience with the game on ps3 and this port is fantastic. Good luck and as the wise sages say at the top of every great mountain of /vg/, "Git guud ♥♥♥♥♥♥."
