was gifted this awesome game from my brother and I've gotta say if this is what this new studio can do I'm on board for all the rest of the games they plan to make. great exploration, customization in crafting your gear, and intriguing setting. only thing more I could ask for is mutliplayer lol

pros:
+ great exploration
+ fun boss fights
+ interesting gear crafting that changes stats (and colors) based on materials used
+ good voice acting with a cast of characters you learn to care about

cons:
- pacing 3/4ths of the way through just takes a nose dive
- gear is nearly cosmetic with how small the margin of benefit is for elemental resistances
- not enough weapon variety ( 1 per element and a non attuned varient for the 3 weapons)
- honestly a little too much exposition (through lengthy convos and tons of written codex entries)

final thoughts:
worth the playthrough and keeping an eye on for any post game updates. I'm excited to see if this becomes a franchise and what the devs might do next but the problems for sure marred the wonder and excitement the beginning of the game had. if you liked Shadow of the Collosus and Dragon Age this is basically its little kid brother.

Probably one of the most relaxing and fun little games I've played this year. great with friends and full of fun little touches. get a scratch off, drink a soda, and cast your line. its gonna be a good time.

A true throwback to classic Fromsoft. if you like getting lost in the dark and obscure but rewarding exploration this is the game for you!

the best pirate sim in the game

A wonderful continuation of the Monster Prom franchise, feels a little Early Access as some core content is still being added (like the gallery option) interested in seeing how the 'sequels' will be monitized as they dont appear to be updates.

if you enjoyed Monster Prom this will scratch the itch of more hijinx in the world and a must buy for fans.

a fun and engaging Poke-like. it checks off quite a few boxes for wishlist items in the other creature catching game and the idea that its only gonna get bigger is awesome. im about 7 hours in at this review and havent even faced my first Dojo (thats Gyms in the other game) so if you're wanting a beefy experiance even now in EA your gonna get it. will update as patches release but yeah would recommend at this price point.

a simple review, of positives and negitives (light commentary at the end about the 'censorship')

+truely immersive hellscape, surrealism pushed to the edges of coherrent and complete chaos
+high replayablity (loads of collectables/ paths /7 endings etc)
+ a 4th wall breaking moment had me look around my room

-controls are sluggish and messy
-game mechanics barely hold together this tour through hell
-textures and models can go from looking really good to complete !@$#!@# randomly
-not scary

ok commentary time: anyone who complains about the censorship the devs have mentioned have not actually played the game. it deserved an AO rating and anything that got removed I can't even imagine because there are some legit graphic things in game. nudity, intense gore, profanity, sex acts, litral rivers of blood. it swings for the fences and succeeds. if the game is censored I couldnt tell in the long run. so it really doesnt deserve the hate its getting there, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the abysmal controls and shoed in game mechanics makes more sense.
