It scratches all the right itches, a healthy mix of sci-fi, fantasy and sort of a looney toons-esque reality, where 4 gruff dwarves risk their necks for gold and MINERALS so they can make fat stacks of credits. Now, arbitrary grading time:

Gameplay: 10/10, simple, effective, fun and intuitive, movement is tight, shooting is satisfying, exploration and mining are both fun
Graphics: 8/10, what it lacks in detail it makes up for in very high quality art direction and consistently gorgeous visuals.
Music: Best space pickaxe jams possible

There is something intoxicating about shooting down a giant bug and screaming "FOR ROCK AND STONE" with your mates. Absolutely worth your money.
