To my distant childhood.

I remember playing the crap out of this game in a local internet cafe, there were so many other people also playing this in their booth. The engine noise and AI honking non-stop, blended with CS 1.6's AK-47 noise and "FIRE IN THE HOLE!!" was what filled my afternoon after school, good times.

Thank you, ZOOM Platform, for allowing me to relive that memory!

(But holy sh*t the AI drivers are just as brutal as I remember LMAO)

After 3 whole years I finally decided it's time to forgive but NOT FORGET everything Ubisoft has done, throw away all the hatred and give Motorfest a shot during the biggest ever discount.

I was NOT disappointed.

People keep saying Motorfest is just "Ubisoft's Forza Horizon"... hold on a second, have I ever flown a plane or ridden a sports bike in ANY of Forza Horizon games? Oh c'mon, silly... the airdrop intro race is just a GIMMICK, and you're still wrapping your head around it.

Motorfest has a even bigger party, and a better motorsport festival experience than Forza Horizon in every aspect. And CARA, too, is better than the expressionless, robotic ANNA in every way possible.

You know, I've never been bothered to review this game because I'm never really into city builders. And you changed my mind with this new "announcement" of yours because OH, MY GOD. WHAT A DISGUSTING COMMERCIAL MODEL.

Have you gone out of your effing mind???

Is Cities Skylines 2 doing SO BAD that you guys start to think about milking your older yet much more successful game, so you can "potentially" regain the loss from making Cities Skylines 2?? Well I've got some very bad news for you: 99% of players are still playing OG Cities Skyline because of the MODS, NOT because the game is good!! And guess what... if you can't be bothered fixing your sequel, then I will never buy it, either.

You ain't running a Blockbuster outlet, bro.

It's a decent game with unique art style. However I find it super dumb to not let players control the camera with right stick. Especially so when you have free roam mode which requires players to literally "look around" for collectibles.

First of all, thank you for giving away the game for free.

Unfortunately it crashed without any error message when I reached precisely one-hour mark during my first playthrough, after I cleared the "railed shooter" scene in the tunnel and ready to enter the next area.
I know Metro is a franchise loved by the community, but it seems this game still has stability issue. It is the only game on my PC that crashes even if the content is 100% vanilla, AKA no mod used whatsoever.

Oh, my god. I have never played a game with such severe oversight. And it hasn't been updated for seven years.

In one of the "story missions" there is a decayed block hidden DEEP within the central pillar that can not be demolished, and the goal requires you to revive EVERY SINGLE BLOCK on the map.

How the f$%k am I supposed to reach to that singular block if you don't let me demolish the external ones??

Also, you can't close building inventory. Because of that, you'll always have something attached to your mouse cursor. I have never, and I mean NEVER, played any other city builder with such sloppy UI design - I'm NOT saying it LOOKS BAD, however.

Gotta be honest here, this game has some cool concepts and it surely looks good in its own way. But the execution was... let's just say not ideal. Good thing I got it during the last sale so it didn't cost much.

Keep your hands off this game, unless you're on a severe "city builder withdrawal."

Destruction game at its absolute peak!!

Punchy soundtrack, vibrant visuals, interesting voice acting with humors that will sometimes SEND you. The control needs a bit time to get used to, but once you do - it is a BLAST.

It's an enjoyable twin-stick shooter If you don't mind AI-generated assets.

However I do have VERY FEW complains, and they might get patched out relatively soon* because Robosaru sure is listening to their players!

*I said "might get patched" because not everything can be updated by changing a few lines of codes, I know that much.

The target-snapping mechanic is kind of annoying.
Even if you disable aim assist, your helicopter will still randomly pick a destroyable object that is the closest to your aim cursor and lock onto it, and there's no way to disable or at least make it prioritize threats within the snapping area.
Gamepad aiming feels extremely unresponsive, but at least the game is playable with keyboard & mouse.

**EDIT**

Robosaru just pushed an update that adds mouse simulation function for gamepad players. Haven't test it yet but the speed they're trying to improve the game through feedback is crazy!

The coin system can be better utilized by allowing us to spend coins to unlock weapons unique to each helicopter and even armor/engine/handling upgrades, not just colors and camos.
**EDIT**

While we sure can call in supplies for each run, we can't use coins stored on the carrier to do that. I guess it's a balancing move, otherwise we can just spam supplies without worrying about getting shot at or run out of ammo/fuel.

It's a pretty decent game for a studio that's basically "Jack of all Trades, Master of None", with a bit more optimization and JDM will be amazing. The new "Photo the Land Mark" feature adds a new way to earn RP and car XP, which makes the game less grind-heavy, now THAT is how you make earning experience points enjoyable! Please keep those features coming!

However, the game isn't without its flaw... what especially baffles me is the setup of drift school's last stage... who thought putting outside zones in hairpins would be a good idea? Good thing the entire game isn't being gatekept by drift school, otherwise I wouldn't have kept the game.

Oh, one suggestion, though: Add the ability to "render" screenshot like your cover image with motion blur, that will making photo mode actually useful! RIDE 5 has it, Tokyo Xtreme Racer (2025) has it, Forza series always has it, and I think JDM will benefit from such feature, too!
