The game did *not* need more mixups.
Most characters had weaknesses diminished, identity homogenized, all to solely improve their stance mixups.

I love Tekken and had hopes for this to become an alltimer. Even if they change course partially from this, the pendulum has gone too far towards stupidity.
They'd have to undo most of this and then course correct. Which I highly doubt they will do.

Currently my favorite fighting game that is out right now gameplay wise. Although KOFXV is really fun too.
I just can't recommend the game while it has a deteriorating netcode and frame drops regardless of rig (both issues not addressed by the devs). Hopefully this review can help towards them doing something about it.
I doubt it, with it having sold over 8 million copies regardless, but a man can hope.
