Hesitation is defeat. This has to be one of the best games I've ever played and I've been gaming since 1980. 9.9/10. The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect 10 is because of the F******* camera angles when you are mid boss fight and up against a wall or corner. The camera is the hardest boss in the game.

The map could be better but apart from that it's a really fun game. The combat is tight and the perfect parry sound is so satisfying. Good amount of challenge so far, very much like Sekiro in terms of combat but a bit easier in my opinion. I kept getting lost cos I found the map hard to read and while I've now figured it out I'm still not sure what the area colours indicate, but don't let that put you off. Dialogue can go on a bit, found myself skipping some just to get back to the fun.

It works! Sekiro would dip below 60 to 45 in areas so I used radeon chill to limit to 30 and tripled that to 90 fps. I get a few little graphical artifacts that I can live with for the gains. Input lag doesn't seem to be an issue at least in Sekiro.

Smoothest most responsive thing I've ever played on a 240hz monitor. Controls are the tightest they could possibly be. It's simple in concept, score chaser modern arcade style game. I like it.

Early Access Review
I'm struggling to enjoy VS. It was ok to begin with, very simple concept but each update comes along and it takes a run or two to get all the new achievements and then what, wait for next update/character? Apart from the new content it has no real replay value for me, no skills to learn, nothing to really master. I don't want to sit there for 15/30 minutes every run and see the same waves of enemies. Even the new arcanas don't really add anything substantial to the concept outside of what's already there, they're just variations of the weapon effects/cooldowns. I don't hate VS, I'm just struggling to see why the world went mad for it. To me it's just another cookie clicker style game. I guess it sold well because of price and the fact that it runs on anything with varying results performance wise. For me just because something is cheap, easy and accessible doesn't mean the core concept is good. It feels like it's a clone of the 80's arcade game Robotron 2084. I'm finding it tedious and really boring, nothing cool happens, just the same gameplay loop over and over and none of it takes any skill or real know how. I've given it a decent go, have all the achievements and secret characters etc just don't see myself ever playing it again. Having said that have fun guys if you are enjoying it. It's just chewing gum for the brain to me.

Can make some crazy builds in this game. It's super fun to run through melting everything cos you chose well from your drops and got a bit lucky on the way. There is a lot of luck involved though, I'd like a bit more control over relic and skill drops. It would benefit from a custom mode like dead cells.
