Early Access Review
This game is interesting in many ways. It's physics system is pretty unique, and enjoyable. It has a unique system where your character, and skill levels and inventory carry with you into whatever world you go, regardless of what's up in that world. It makes it so easy to switch between multiplayer and singleplayer. Most of all though, it's genuinely fun. At its current price, I wholeheartedly recommend this game!

This game is, quite obviously, in the RTS, or "Real Time Strategy" category. Perhaps less obviously to those who haven't played it yet, it's also, actually a real-time *strategy* game. Unlike pretty much every other game in the genre, it is first and foremost about strategy. Unit-level tactics and micro (think Starcraft II) are *not* the focus of this game. In some ways, I think that giving the same genre label to this game as other "collect resources and build units and fight and win" games does it a disservice. Because it's actually something quite different than most.

Want to build 3 tanks, 2 mobile shield guys, an artillery guy and an anti-air guy, in a never-ending loop? You can. You just queue them up and tell it to loop. It'll keep doing that until you tell it different. Want to destroy your enemy without leaving your base, with long-range artillery or nukes? You can.

Unlike almost every other "RTS" I've ever played, the difference between the winner and the loser in this game is almost never based on the "actions per minute" (how fast you can click on stuff) of each player. It's based on the strategy, and how well that strategy works on that map against your opponnent's strategy.

After a few hundred hours of play, I'm not bored with it, even against enemy AI (which is quite good, and varied from game to game). One of my favorite games of all time.
