-- Editing now that i've had time to play some more:

This is actually fun. No idea why people are complaining about map size or length of the prep phase. Prep is literally 2 minutes long and the maps being large is irrelevant because you can move very quickly while mounted. If somebody is finding this game slow or boring its because they're not fighting over the airdrops or the shieldbreaker and are instead AFK farming crystals (which is also not required, they just give you resource to spend at the kiosks scattered around the map. Everything in the kiosks can be found in chests). Its also not really a hero-shooter like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals, its closer to final circle Apex Legends in how combat is going to take place.

I'd like to see some form of progression, right now there are no levels or ranks so each game feels a little bit meaningless. There is a "Ranked coming soon" gamemode so presumably that will be addressed in a few weeks.
I agree that the tutorial could do with some streamlining and that there are some elements missing but its hardly the end of the world. Just play a few rounds and you'll figure it out.

The game isn't perfect, but at time of review it has 37% positive reviews which is obviously wrong. Without the review bombing I'd probably put it somewhere in the 70-75% range. I would honestly say that if you like FPS games, you should probably try this. Ignore the review score for now and just give it a go and you'll see that there is actually a pretty fun game here.

-- Original Review:

Countering the hate a little bit - I played the tutorial and a full game and had fun. There are some cool ideas and it feels good to play. I had no performance issues and found a game quickly. Only stopping at 30mins because I have to work

A little goofy at times but has some really nice world design and some interesting elements, even if it doesn't quite come together perfectly. I completed all side missions and activities and don't think it was worth it, lots of running back and forth across the map for basically 0 gain. The fireworks quest in act 2 is worthwhile though

Absolutely awful. I'm not going to waste any more of my time writing anything more about it.

Its a fun concept with lots to unlock and a lot of variety, in theory. In practice a lot of the different cards don't really feel that different so most runs feel pretty much exactly the same. Either you get bad cards and you lose, or you get good cards and you win. Still worth it, and definitely close to being really good.

For the devs -

Why are my cards sometimes destroyed? This isn't explained very well and doesn't feel very good
Why does the damage numbers only go to 99999 before being replaced with "REALLY?????"? It's pretty trivial to get numbers that high so it doesn't feel like an achievement and is actually counterproductive because now I have no idea whether a new card is better, only if its significantly worse
Why can I not see my attack speed? If my damage is 100 and I get a speed card then either that should be reflected in the damage, or I should have a second value for attacks per second
Why do elemental cards not display how much extra damage they're providing? I want to see at a glance which cards are pulling their weight
Where you show the effect breakdown on the left hand side, could that give actual values instead of just 1, 2, 3, ... I want to know how much bigger my bullets are going to be, how many bounces, how many extra shots, etc.

I actually legitimately like this game so please don't take this as harsh criticism. There is an enjoyable experience here, just needs a few tweaks (imo)

Fun execution but could do with some way of getting a hint as for a couple of the pieces it wasn't clear what I was looking at

Short and sweet, controls are a bit awkward and menu navigation is slow but there are some fun puzzles and the art and music are great
