War Thunder used to be a great game, but it has become worse over the years. I started playing it eight years ago as an alternative to World of Tanks. At first, I was impressed by its mechanics and realism. However, the game has become unenjoyable due to its broken and unfair economic system. It's almost impossible now to play above 8.0 in RB; nearly every match you'll get uptiered. Even if you do well, the rewards are marginal. Without a premium account, the repair costs will bankrupt you, even if you have a 1KD. It's sad to see such a promising game ruined by the greed of the developers, Gaijin. I don't recommend playing War Thunder unless you're willing to waste money. I've been playing for many years, spending money on premium vehicles, but the game keeps changing to make it harder to play and requires more premium currency. Free-to-play games usually reward players, but this game discourages playing at all levels. Gaijin's disregard for their players has forced my hand. They want players to lose money so they'll buy premium vehicles, which ruins the game's balance and matchmaker. I can't recommend War Thunder in its current state. New players suffer the most. Gaijin doesn't care about the player base. Find a game that values your time and respects you.

This game has many negatives. As it didnt have steam multiplayer till a year ago. Thats it.
