This game is truly amazing, but...

It was a long time ago i did enjoy a game as i do with Everwind and i'd like to recommend it, really do (i even bought the Capybara Edition to support its future) but it feels a bit empty. The core mechanics are amazing and flawless and it's an Early Access title so expect things to change, get better but for now i can't wholeheartedly recommend it. It has an amazing "tall roller coaster" experience with the "wow, you can do this, you can do that" but after you reach the top, you quickly realise there's not much to do: you fight the same enemies, you see the same animals on every island, the islands are small and you take more time to fly to them than to explore, search them. Looting, gathering resources is rather boring: you can craft better tools and they do cut, break things faster but you still get a handful of stuff you actually need. Sure, you can cut down entire forests for wood, but ores are rare and when you find them, you get barely anything. (There is a stat for gloves giving you +100% Harvest, I wish it would work for everything you gather, cut, mine.) The sky is empty, you're the only one with a flying ship: it would be so awesome to meet friendly traders, hostile pirates above the clouds! Building only matter if you build your ship, building on an island is like hiding a needle in a haystack as you can't teleport back to your building (yet). You can mark it with a flag, but exploring thousands of blocks just to see your home is 10.000+ blocks away is just pain.

Overall, the game is amazing and i love it so far. For an Early Access title it's very good and fun for a good few-few hours, until you reach the said "top". Devs, keep up the good work so players like me, we can recommend this masterpiece to the fullest!
