This was so lovely. The kitties are incredibly cute and round, the music makes me think of dramas, and the atmosphere of each stage is so soothing. I do wish the UI at the top didn't sometimes block kitties, but at least you can see and click through it! Would recommend highly. It's a pretty short game, but charming.

Cute artwork with a few fun music tracks. I love that the objects aren't obscured by other things or hidden in places. I find myself always looking for that last thing. There's a low variety of stages. Every 4 - 5 stages, they repeat again, but you get more new objects to find. Once you've heard all the music tracks, that's all there is. They're fun jams, but not exactly something I want to listen to for a long time, admittedly. I am a big fan of the one that sounds a bit like a trap mix.

There are definitely big issues. At least there were for me.

There isn't a settings menu. You are only presented with 3 different game modes to play. You cannot adjust volume, resolution, screen size, contrast, or even UI elements. I used my volume mixer to turn the game's audio down.

I only played Classic Mode, so that's what I can speak for. You only get one hint per stage, which seems a bit limiting. It would nice if it could have a short recharge time. For me, it would help whenever I can't find the last to last two objects. The hint gizmo you get is a compass in which the North arrow takes you to the object.

The UI for Classic Mode still has the timer UI at the top of the screen, which annoying covers search areas. More frustratingly, there's a big pause button in the upper left-hand corner that can hide objects. I had to maneuver the area around while zoomed to see any potential objects behind it. Sometimes there were.

The escape would be perfect for pausing the game instead of having that big button there. If it needs to be there, there should be some white space around the actual puzzle area so nothing can be visually blocked at any zoom level.

Was actually really soothing and satisfying to play. No customers threatening your life or job. Simple straight fowards fantasy ownership. I was a cashier before. I loved my job, but I hated the people who made my day worse and the pennies I got paid. I had fun. Definitely a fun demo to play. I'll be looking forwards to the full game!

I'll try to quickly get out my thoughts. I was a backer on Kickstarter back in 2021 and have been hands-off until its release date. As I understand it, at least in this instance, publishers choose when the game goes out and Steam chooses which game gets to release as Early Access. Not sure how many variables are considered or requirements that need to be met for either one of these per game basis, but I have read that developers don't necessarily get to choose either of those things. So, we're 3 major patches in as of this date. June 30, 2024

I love the music. It's perfectly, it always mixes up depending on where you are and the season. Sometimes unlocking in certain cutscenes as well. Soundtrack is amazing. Gameplay... Well, it depends. I was looking for a cute farming sim and that's what I got. There's card based combat and deckbuilding.

You can build relationships with all the inhabitants and romance does exist, but not the way it does in other games. It's not heavily emphasized, as it's more about getting to know a person, than romance, moving in and all that. Which I'm fine with. Most implementations of these systems are shallow and turn NPCs into marionettes. As for the tags on this, the steam community can add tags. I don't remember there being the Dating Sim tag on it initially lol

There are a lot of performance issues and bugs, but they are being hammered out as quick as possible, since this was quite a rough launch. I think the dev team is like 3 - 5 people? So they're doing their best, especially with a game THIS big. The discord community is very helpful and friendly for the most part, as well as understanding more about the systems and how they work within the game. The sole programmer is also often around and streams bug fixing, while answering questions just as often too.

I love the artstyle of town, the story of it, and am always curious about the background of the other townspeople. The portraits are well done, the skin tone colors for various brown-skinned characters are great. The models even have lighter palms. The shades for character creator is pretty good too, though there aren't many options. What's there are good color picks. There's a large number of hairstyle options from straight, curly, to tightly coiled hair and some fun very anime-protag styles.

Clothes and accessories are an okay selection (currently, special festival outfits bugged :c), you can customize their colors though, so you can shake it up a little bit. 3 piercing slots and some good variety of facial piercings.

I wanted write a bit more, but I would encourage people to at least try the demo. I'll try to come back when I'm feeling a bit better. I do think this game needs a lot of work, especially with some QoL stuff (too much clicking for inventory management), but there's PLENTY do to and enjoy if you can play and plenty of people willing to help, including devs on the discord. I can't really speak for here, since I find Discord to be the easiest place to find information. But there's a community for this game that's lovely!

I would say at least try the demo, even though you only get the smallest taste.

Mods make this game more accessible and enjoyable for me. Been having a time so far! Wish there were more family play options though.
