Half-Life 2 RTX is a Community-Made Mod that is a RTX demo for Ravenholm and Nova Proskpekt areas only. It worked on my Windows 11 system with RTX 4070 TI Super, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You need a NVIDIA RTX GPU for this and to own Half-Life 2 on Steam. Mainly a tech demo for Ray Tracing.

Maybe get this if you have NVIDIA RTX GPU and own Half-Life 2 on Steam to see what Ray Tracing does.

Early Access Review
Initium is an Early Access Free VR puzzle game. It does Not work on my HTC Vive, Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link or Valve Index. I have a link cable somewhere in the house have not found it, will try this again with it.

Don't bother trying this game unless you have a Meta Quest 2/3/3S/Pro with a Link cable.

Midnight Arcade is a Free to play VR game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played so-so, sounded ok. Looks like a coding student's final project.

CONS: the Mini golf didn't work with the HTC Vive controllers.

Maybe try this game for free, but there are better games out there.

Early Access Review
Fire from the sky: Cagliari 1943 VR is an Early Access Free VR history experience. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played poorly, sounded ok, not understandable. The Voice overs and subtitles are in Italian. Gaze is the control system. Currently, there is only 1 chapter, but there is plans for more chapters over release from Early Access. Has no instructions. Has no menu.

Maybe try this only, if you understand Italian spoken and written.

Groovy Labs is a free to play VR rhythm game that has XR. It worked on my HTC Vive, Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link, system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has lots of options.

CONS:
- The search function for songs in this database of 100,000 songs, did Not work at the time of this review.
- Does not have many songs, only 9.

Maybe try this if you are looking for a free clone of "Beat Saber"

Early Access Review
Magic Madness is an Early Access free to play VR magic PVP combat game. It worked on my Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has a tutorial that you can play without login. Has a player space that you can customize, without login.

CONS:
- Requires an Epic Games account to play on the PvP server.
- Does not work with HTC Vive controllers.

Maybe try this if you have an Epic Games account.

AccuBow VR is a "Free"? VR archery simulator. It worked to a point on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, sounded ok, played no. Had to make an account with the dev in VR, watched some instruction cards about the game play, then faced with a Subscription wall. Didn't see any way around. I exited the game and restarted it, still stuck in the lobby with a subscription paywall. Pay 3.99 per month, 40.99 per year, and 79.99 for lifetime, through the steam store.

CONS:
- Requires an account with the dev, giving Name, email addresss, password, phone number, you can sign up in VR.
- Requires a paid subscription, there is No free play, no trial, no tutorial, you are stuck at a paywall.

Don't bother to download this scam, unless you are really into hunting or target shooting with bows.

Daylight's End VR Edition is a free Movie viewer in VR, but all the movie Daylight's End is behind the paywall, there is only a 4 minute trailer. The whole movie with ten chapters cost 19 dollars in the DLC store. The lobby in VR lets you play with guns and pick up bottles. As you buy chapters, you get more weapons to play with.

Only download this VR program, if you are interested in buying this movie to watch in VR.
