Clutch: The Drift Simulation is a free to play real life car drifting simulation but in a “game” form. It worked on my Win 11 system with Index HMD, looked so-so, played meh, sounded ? The launcher is on the desktop only and very confusing. I did get it to work with my Index HMD to provide view from the seat, but it does not use my Index controllers, and could not get my Xbox gamepad set up completely. This program can also use up to 3 monitors in desktop mode. The graphics are basic. Has only gamepad and driving wheel for controls. Has VR support.

Maybe only try this if you are into Sim Driving games, but you will have to DIY tech support to get the gamepad or driving wheel set up.

GIPHY World VR is a free to play VR art experience. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You can make Gifs, then use Gifs to decorate the environment, then make Gif of what you have created.

Maybe try this program, if you like new forms of art.

Reelease is an Early Access free to play VR file viewer. It worked to a point on my Index system, looked so-so, sounded ?. Was able to navigate to a folder that has a variety of video files, but the program did not see any files. Very bare bones program at the start. Was stuck at selecting files location.

Don't bother downloading this program, there are better video file viewers in VR out there.

Space Ninja Simulator is a free VR game. It does Not work on my Index system, looked ok, Played No, sounded ?. Description says: "Game has been tested only for Oculus Quest." Then Additional Notes in the System Requirements should say Oculus Quest only. My Index controllers don't work.

Try this game only if you have an Oculus Quest

Appointment Mentor VR is a free VR experience that helps individuals with autism prepare for doctor visits by simulating the appointment process in a calm, repeatable environment. Created with adults with autism at nonPareil Institute, it builds real-world confidence and skills. It worked on my Index system, Looked Badly, sounded ok, played ok. Has very badly visual motion lag.

Not sure if you should try this program, very buggy.

Virtual Reader (VR book reader) is a free to play VR program where you can read EPUB, CBZ, and PDF files as books in a room. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok.

Maybe try this program if you like reading and wanna read books while in VR.

swingmania is an Early Access Free to play note slicing VR rhythm game focused at competitive ranked play, customizability, ultra high performance and cats! It worked badly on my Index system, looked badly, sounded ok, could not play. The screen was split in half from top and bottom, lower half was very close up and the top half was far away view. Very awkward screen bug, game breaking. Another Beat Saber clone.

Maybe try it, if you wanna help the devs with testing this EA game.

There Exists is a free to play VR documentary experience narrative experience that brings to light the emotional and complex realities of first contact between English settlers and the Traditional Owners of the land in 1790s New South Wales, Australia. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played Bad, sounded ok. Was unclear what to do after listening to the first person you start with, wandered about in the first location looking for something else to do. Bugs galore.

Not worth trying.

Rail Gunner is a free to play shooter game where you are riding on a moving rail car and shooting everything chasing it.

Death Game Hotel, a White Owls® game is a free to play VR gambling game. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Can play poker or slot machines. This game was ported from Oculus. Has Pvp.

Maybe try this game for free, if you like gambling.
