This series has always been a mixed bag for a lot of people, but personally I enjoy it. I enjoyed the first Homefront a lot and I enjoyed this one even more with its open world elements.

Yes, it does get repetitive, but it's at the very least a good time waster if you're a fan of the freedom/resistance fighter thing like I am.

I would recommend getting it on sale, however. In my opinion this game is not worth $30, but for $7.50 it definitely is not a bad deal. I originally played this on Xbox One when it was free on Game Pass and enjoyed it very much. I heard it was better on PC and it definitely is. Don't expect the multiplayer to be bustling either, I'd just buy it for the main campaign and DLC (while they are also on sale).

Summary: If you're a fan of the freedom fighter genre, it's a perfectly decent game if it's on sale. It can get repetitive, however.
