Never played the first bloodlines game but so far I am enjoying this. Wish the map was bigger but the verticality makes it feel quite large and with all the alleys and enterable buildings the map does have some decent depth to it. Story seems good so far and definitely captured the feel of being a powerful vampire pretty well. The combat is fun and there are some rpg elements with clan choice and dialogue but I do wish there was more customization. Performance for me is perfect I play in 4k max settings getting about 90-120 fps with fsr3 and frame gen I have a 7900XT and I9-12900k. For 60$ I don’t think it’s worth it if the story is as short as people say it is but for 39.99 it’s a definite buy so just wait until the steam winter week to purchase

i've only been playing for 3 weeks....
no this is not a joke i just been grinding this game is good. I have purchased modules but with the vsn f4 mod plus marianas map you can get an awesome experience totally free some of the modded planes "vsn f-4b" "Community A-4-E" are partial fidelity modules with unique flight models and clickable cockpits. if you like jets dogfighting or just a realism junkie this is right up your alley.

edit - over 1,000 hours later and still just as fun if not more when i started. Transitioned from flaming cliffs modules to the f-14, f-16, f-4e, mig-21 and even the f-86 Sabre. Got a VR Headset and a Headtracker for when i dont want to be in Vr and could not be more satisfied if your into air combat or sims in general this game is impossible to ignore

typical review bombing because people complaining they cant run the game max settings in high resolution with entry level hardware. look at the games recommended requirements for 1080p medium are the entry level cards 2060,3060,rx6600 performance patches will def come out down the line .Game runs great on my machine 120+fps 4k max settings with high texture pack ray tracing on high i7-12700k 7900xt. Performance aside game is amazing open world integrated seamlessly is a breath of fresh air for the franchise. The story seems decent so far as well.

one of the best rpg's i've ever got the opportunity to play. Amazing immersion a story that leaves you guessing as to whats about to happen next and absolutely stunning graphics. If you have the opportunity to run on experimental settings game looks and runs wonderful on my 7900xt i7-12700k pc getting over 100fps in 4k with little to no performance issues. I cannot testify to the optimisation on entry level hardware.

Runs fine on my i7 and 4070 45 fps in cities 80-100 anywhere else’s settings maxed with ray tracing in 2k i have a 1400$ pc so I can see how someone with an average setup could be having performance issues other than that absolutely amazing game really feels like old school dragons dogma with a lot of modern touches if u have a good pc with at least. A rx 6800 or rtx 4070 u should have no issues just benchmarked on my second rig with ryzen 7 and 7700xt and getting 60-80fps in big cities and 80-160 while traveling and fighting amd cards crush this game way better then my 4070 even with rt on
