Extremely solid 9/10, almost a perfect Space Marine power fantasy. Only complaints are No Chaos customization, and literally the worst co-op campaign AI i've ever encountered. Genuinely braindead. Will just stand there swinging a chain sword at a wall while you get swarmed by 70+ nids.

Absolutely banger track list, if the next 2 packs are even half as good they'll still be instant buys.

Edit - Game has had a few updates fixing most of the quality of life issues, also added 6-button to lower difficulties, would recommend to players new to rhythm games now.

Missing an insane amount of QoL, and Danmaku mode feels like it was designed by a creature with monocular vision, but regardless the song selection is so good I'd recommend it unless you're new the rhythm games.
I am begging devs to stop making "Higher difficulty=more buttons". If you want to make it 6 buttons, just make all the difficulties 6 buttons. Any sort of "practice" you want to get on the lower difficulties feels useless. Also the fog effect makes me want to cry.

10/10 would speedrun to Capra Demon again

This game is just flat out amazing. What it likes in length and story, it makes up with literally everything else. The musical timing, the combat, the over the top boss fights. Almost every second is enjoyable, and it doesn't change the second/third/fourth/fifth time playing it.

Except the camera angles, they're terrible.
Seriously, this might be the worst camera I've ever seen.

Love it, great game with tight controls. After you get the hang of it, it's just a fun sidescroller you can start up and play at anytime. I'd put it on par with games like Super Meat Boy, even better in my personal opinion.
