I adore this game & I hope one day everyone gets a chance to experience this game. When I first got into this game in 2019, after a very few jumps I saw another player's base, again after a few jumps I saw an underwater base. I was amazed simply by the scale of No Man's Sky's universe. Note that there are over 18 quintillion planets in 256 galaxies. I never thought I would see someone's base near my paradise planet.

Over the years with so many updates, the game feels wholesome. The variety of in-game objectives & things to do in the game is massive. I never felt like I was grinding for something, things just happened & you feel like you are part of this lore. The beauty in randomness!

1) You can build multiple bases, like uber-cool bases. You can see some awesome bases players have created. You can farm & harvest in your base.
2) You can have freighters like Star Wars & a fleet of frigates to get your job done.
3) You can claim settlements, make them profitable & earn profits, solve issues, protect the people, & save them from pirates & other rogue elements.
4) You can do bounty hunting & board on derelict freighters.
5) You can mine underwater, in caves & space for various resources.
6) All starships fit the lore, nothing seems out of place.
7) Loot ships or crashed freighters & NPC bases for resources.
8) Upgrade exosuit, starship, multitool & exocrafts. Also, outfit them with black-market tech goods.
9) Feed & pet animals.
10) Recruit squadrons of wingmen.
11) Visit outlaw systems & be a full-blown pirate (smuggle illegal goods, forge passports & evade cargo scans).
12) Play with friends or make new ones in Nexus.
13) Do multiplayer missions & multiple NPC factions.
