Really fun and surprisingly deep little autobattler. It really sucked me in from the get-go and I played way more of the demo than I ever thought I would and the fun hasn't stopped with release. Highly recommend checking it out if you're into this sort of thing.

Early Access Review
Really fun game if you like auto-battlers. Not super rogue-lite but the randomness of the map and different nodes does add a fun element to it. The game itself is a great time sink with tons of replayability and different combos of heroes/items/origins etc. to tinker with and test out. I find myself loading it up to test out new items that I haven't used yet just to see what kind of wacky team I can succeed with. Also probably the only game I've ever 100%ed (and am still actively playing!).

Also Hotloop is a solo dev who is super active in discord soliciting feedback and tinkering with the game to balance it and just generally hanging out with their player base. They're also very active in releasing fixes and now content patches which keeps it fresh and fun to keep playing.

Fun conceit but the UI makes this incredibly tedious to play. Got to a point where I dreaded setting up fights so I just stopped playing. Would refund if I could but it took getting into more complex fights to see. YMMV

There's a ton to do in this game and I *really* want to love it but I just can't recommend it. It's simply way way too grindy and the fights take way too long. Outside of the first few cakewalk fights we're talking 10-15 minutes per fight and there's no shortage of them. Monsters have seemingly endless heals, purges, armor cards and summons. I found myself groaning every time I failed a skill check and started a fight I'd hoped to avoid.

If you don't mind endlessly grinding resources and selling your soul to the game to figure out its secrets I'd say go for it - there's a lot there and it certainly could be fun for the right person but if you're buying this thinking it's a quick, accessible but endlessly deep game like StS or Monster Train you will likely be disappointed. Try it and see but be aware that by the time you realize how damn long it takes to progress you'll probably be past the refund point.

Ruined by Epic. Wouldn't bother unless you want to spend 10k hours to compete against smurfs at every level. Was once one of the best games out there but those days are long gone.
