More than the sum of its parts. Refreshing game play, a skill system that's fun to tinker with, outstanding music and visuals, memorable plot and voice acting, and palpable love from the game devs.

No game is flawless. E33 is an easy game, and you can feel the team's inexperience in some of the technical executions and some areas of the vision. This is, in my opinion, far out outweighed by the absolute soul that the game drips with.

It's pretty cheap for what it is, just play it yourself. Even if you've read spoilers, it's worth experiencing yourself.

For years the UI just worked. It was second nature to regular players. Then, for no reason, they updated it - design choices that are just worse, from quality of life t o things like hunter rosters. That'd be one thing, but the game is buggy as all hell. Don't reward these decisions financially. Do not buy.

No real reason to play this over blood bowl 2. It's incredibly buggy, AI takes forever to take a turn, my friend and I bought the special edition just to not be able to join a game together for the entirety of the early release. Bold of the devs to ask people to pay to bugtest. This game might be playable in a year or two, can't recommend buying it until then.

Fantastic game with rich atmosphere and satisfying challenge, RNG done right in that virtually every potentially bad "random" event can have its damage mitigated or avoided with smart play, without eliminating the idea in the back of your head that sometimes, bad things are going to happen. A really pleasing artstyle tops off a great experience.
