I always wanted a single player DayZ, that focused more on the zombie survival aspect. It took about 15 years but I finally got it. I'm only 10 hrs in, and the initial early game difficulty seems to be overcome. If it's easy street from here on out I'm going to start a new run on the highest difficulty.

There are so many difficulty sliders to adjust that I think I'll be able to tune it in to my liking to keep it interesting. If I were to do a no trader challenge, with true iron man mode, I think that would really spice it up. Being able to trade junk to get a big backpack and a gun is pretty OP. So is squirreling away backup kits. But the ammo is expensive as all heck so maybe that is the balancer. Not sure.

All I can say is I'm having a lot of fun with it right now.

Great little rogue-lite dungeon delver game. Lots of fun.

I've had a lot of fun with this game. The dev's are constantly updating it every couple weeks. The story is deep and there are a lot of different ways to play. My only knock on this game is that there are A LOT of choices to make, constantly, which can lead to decision fatigue. You can turn on automatic crew leveling which would aleviate a lot of this, but I just haven't been able to give up the control.

Great game. If you've played Insurgency, it's like that but WW2. I actually prefer the Coop mode in DoI over Insurgency. It's harder to game the bots, and just overall more challenging, due to the limitations of the weapons of the period and the lack of armor. I'm a huge fan, I think they get the realism vs. fun factor just right, but that is personal preferece of course. I hate games with bullet sponge enemies (and friendlies/self) and this is definitley not that. Getting a headshot with an M1 Garand or an Enfield is as satisfying as it should be, and that's what really matters. Definitely worth full price; if you get it half off, well, you got a great deal.

p.s. - Don't buy the skins unless you just feel like throwing cash at the dev's (which is a valid choice).
