Just buy it for the shts and giggles

As long as you have your pc connected to an internet cable it just works like a charm. The only strange thing about the product is its promotion as it promotes with cities skylines, however this is a game that has originally no controller support. this is easily solved by downloading the correct setting. (in theory you can play every game on steam, but it does not always work smooth if it is not controller supported)

I know this is an older game but that even makes it better if you think of it. Its published in 2011 and got it about half a year ago. I didnt expect anything of this game. I started the game and was blown of my chair from the first moment. I absolute love this game.

Sanctum is an interesting game to talk about. A lot of times when you ask someone if they like tower defense style games, you generally always get an answer to where they find it either good or just boring. On the other hand, asking if someone likes first person shooters, a lot of people will normally say yes depending on which part of the genre you're talking about.
Sanctum is a different beast, it combines best of both worlds to make for an interesting concept. Being one or few of the only games that utilizes a hybrid tower defense/first person shooter approach, it excutes the idea in a very balanced fashion. Albeit, the amount of levels without dlc is rather short, with it, there is enough variety both gameplay wise and level wise there to give you several hours of gameplay alone or with your friends. Did I mention you can play with your friends? Thought I didn't.

Overall, good game, good idea, just a little short, but still worthy of playing if you like to have something to play for a few hours, not including the well hidden secrets that can keep you going a little while longer.

It has an lot of DLC's I got those for free and I would recomment buying the full edition because it hasnt that many different maps without it. You can play the demo of sanctum for free so you can check out if you like it.
Its an must play and I recomment you buying this game during the steam sale.

To begin with Ark I want to point out that the steam review has changed a lot since the last dlc. People are pissed on the developers for not giving the Sorced Earth DLC for free. You might think DLC arent free, you are right however this game is still in development.
The DLC costs 19,99 euro so I understand the reason for an lot of people to be upset.

Oke, back to the game. This game is amazing, its an open world survival game with awesome grapics. The gameplay is exciting and is most of the time an brutal survival game, for instance: I had an base going with some dinos and some iron and all of an sudden an rex ran directly out of nowere into my base. It destroyed my entire base and killed almost all of my dinos, luckily for me I was on my raptor with all my iron so I fled. Later that day I came back to my base but it wasnt there anymore. So it safe to asume that there is a little bit of the horror genre in this game due to the unexpecting events that suddenly appear.

So you see, all your progress can be destroyed in an blink of an eye, however you can also be lucky. If you would ask me if this game is worth your time, I would say YES! Because you arent going to find an beatiful looking survival game elsewere.
