Best game in the genre. (its only game in the genre). It's fun, a bit buggy but not too bad, and how else can you be a sandbox PI/detective with procedural generated missions/murders.

Pre-quest2 it was a lot like the early internet in who you meet/run into (lots of techies, gamers, bit older crowd who can afford to splurge on tech/computer stuff).Nowadays, its just like the internet meaning a whole bunch more kids/teenagers running around indirectly pushing the older crowd into segregated communities (gatherings of friends-only, invite only, and friends+ places).
On the whole though, its got all the pluses and minus any internet community has, incredible support for minority groups can be found and people throwing out random slurs and saying horrible things protected by the anonymousness of the internet. Also, one of the bigger and more supportive mute communities (whether literally or because of social anxiety), complete with daily things like learning sign language if you want. Theres a large creative community that reminds me of the old half life modding days, with lots of map makers, and avatar makers, some doing it just to show off, others literally making a living off of selling avatars.
Likely the single best way to hang out with friends or find new friends over the internet. Still the internet though, so get used to the idea of ignoring / muting / blocking people who say/do horrible things in publics until such time as you make/find your friend group(s) and likely never hang out in publics again.

Kinda like a coffee break DnD campaign with x-com style tactic fights, which is fun.

Hardcore Oregan Trail + Hack n slash. Haven't tried the coop but i'm enjoying the single player. Expect to die a lot, fortunately you find new people/friends along the way fairly often. Its a good game and worth the fairly low price.

CK2 started out being one of the best stategy games of all time, it is now, the best game of all time in any genre. It's biggest flaw is the sheer amount of content and gameplay with poor tutorials/manuals that were created a long time ago, instead the player has to rely on wiki's and the forums for gameplay information, but if you can get past the initial hump, it can soak up massive amounts of time with near infinite replayability and gameplay styles. Even after hundred of hours you can discover new stategies and playstyles.
