I love this game and hope there will be some blight less modes as it is a fun survival crafting game to me. The story has been interesting and fun since I first got it in EA.

Good morning Divers! The bots at Sony have withdrawn their war declaration and they say they will not require our information for data linking/stealing!

Now we can get back to this amazing game that straddles the Helldiver and the Starship Trooper worlds! Go kill bugs and spread managed democracy across all worlds!!

Sony don't try and touch our data again.

I'm having a lot of fun with Archmage Rises. I did experience some bugs and problems but saving regularly has made them not as big a loss. So far I have died quite fast a couple times, but my current run has taught me more about the quest system and persuasion, more about the changed magic schools which I'm having fun with but realized I should have specialized more rather than experimenting. But that is the fun thing to me, I will play again with a new mage and make different choices, head in different directions, pick a different primary town, focus on 1-2 magic schools instead of them all, etc.

I wish I had kept track of a couple of seeds that I had a lot more problems on, I'd recommend trying a new seed if you have a lot of problems as that fixed most of my issues. Do not quick save on impulse when entering a new area, allow the game to finish it's save first,

I'm having a lot of fun with this game, way more than I expected. It's got a few minor issues that I have experienced, mostly white outs when the visual effects get heavy. The initial game play is fun and challenging as you level up each class. You will unlock new options for weapons, grenades, utilities and perks that can make for a lot of fun and some chaos. The end rush to get on the ship can be a short run, just outside your base, or across the map while the bugs spawn relentlessly. Stay together and earn your Citizenship!

Wartales has quickly become a my new favorite game to relax and chill at home. The strategies of class and weapon/off-hand combinations, the open world, the quests are still new to me but I can already see how starting in Tilton might get old as I'm on my 3rd start and haven't had the game long.

I am enjoying the hell out of it, and even let my 2nd play through be trying out animals and it was fun and there is a lot to learn. Oddly enough the first boar I ever captured and gave the 25% hide bonus to, was still alive and kicking at level 6/7 ish. It was at a decent Will so it kept surviving by it's hair, lol the war ponies were always around it.
That's just my second play through on Experienced/Experienced/Free as I learned the game a bit.
I jumped to Expert/Expert/Limited and I can see the differences in difficulty and am not running war ponies, just one alpha wolf I grabbed for a mission I was light on that I'm giving a try.
I just saw a bear with a drinking problem in the jail, aka a drunkard trait, which made me chuckle as there was an interesting mix of traits. There are many ways to play the game as long as you are willing to make a choice and stick to it. Beastmasters, bears and wolves? Poisoners and plague rats? Defenders and 2 handers? Plus stealing and or not?
Capturing and selling outlaws to the prison system is a built in part of the game, but you could easily miss another money making opportunity and end up broke with only a trade mission left that you can't afford.

Time to move on to a new area and hope there are some missions, or maybe you decide its time to hunt and sell meat, fur and other resources. You control your mercenary troop and you are responsible for them, especially if one of your hair brained schemes got them arrested as you fled the cops!
Or maybe you decide they were the weakest link and save yourself the cash as you relocate your team across the county lines! Cut and run... This game has the potential to be so many stories, at least to me.

I am having a total blast with this game, and it is my choice when I want to chill out from the day. I often play for an hour or so a night. I am told it's like Rimworld but I never played that. the combination of interesting survivor personalities and skill sets can be a challenge of it's own. Your location will affect the starting resources you will find, most notably the location of plants. I have started 4 times now and am in year 3 of my third start. Definitely learned some lessons about how to play in the first 3 starts and changed my priorities at the beginning. Balancing the priorities is a mini-game as you juggle the focus to what you need now or most.
The alien attacks are fun, grow in a reasonable manner and punish you if you do not improve your defenses as well as stock up for winter. Trying to keep everyone fully clothes is a real challenge in the first years if you do not have certain plants nearby. This game has become my go to game for when I don't want to pound the keys to play and keeps me interested as I manage their hunger while curbing their habit of eating every new food; or rearranging when a couple starts dating or gets engaged and so much more.
Plus the updates so far have improved the game and upped the challenge level on a gradual basis. I'm looking forward to the future of Stranded: Alien Dawn while enjoying the hell out of the game now.

I am having an absolute blast with Crowz and meeting loads of cool people while playing. The audience is international so some games I cannot communicate due to my only truly speaking English well, however we still all worked together toward the objectives most of the time. I have fun even while learning the game and getting beat, but it makes those comebacks even better in both modes of play.
A fun casual game that you can jump into for CTF or Collect the cash style gaming so far! If you see OhComeOn, say hi! lol

I would definitely recommend Icarus as it's a fresh take on survival games and session based play. It can be frustrating and I have definitely hated bears before level 20 at the least, but honestly they are a real pain to a solo player when caught unawares as the experience death penalty is annoying but honestly it isn't a large enough setback that I didn't die a few times trying to kill my first bear with a bow and bone arrows. (Hint: I do not recommend this) lol I'm enjoying all the gathering and crafting for the most part, but like any game it does get repetitive. You can do a lot of interesting things that you may not think of at first, just cutting down trees to make an impromptu fence can net you some easy wildlife kills as they get stuck.
However, fire is the great reset tool so beware of it and always have some fire wackers around your buildings for safety. Or lost your building to fire and start again. I have 3 active characters, 1 solo and 1 restart, as well as a character I use with my buddy. We are able to split our research and build a ton more stuff between us. Solo definitely has a bit less depth and you have to be sure of what you spend your talents on as you only get 40 levels of talent points.
The game has continued to improve, as throughout the beta weekends they adjusted, balanced, and fixed a ton but after release they have continued to support the game aggressively working on bugs and new content. Updated icons, altered effects, and more to come has me excited to play more Icarus.

Found a decent server and have been having a lot of fun playing since the launch queues madness. 6+ hours of queues in the first few days wasn't as bad as some but still annoying. It looks like a lot of that may have been picking servers that streamers picked as those servers queued fast. I found out later that I was unlucky on my first server choice. Since then it has not been an issue.
I managed to get quite a few levels just harvesting for crafting and trying to get something decent which is harder than I thought. Fun still, but can be time consuming for somethings.
There is a bear town quest that is a real problem, especially the kill and skin this specific bear, it respawns too slowly for the number of bear quests in the town. I may have missed other bears under level 30 in my area.
I have had a lot of fun with the harvesting, collecting, and fishing but I think it still needs a little tuning. Still me and my friends are having a lot of fun with New World as of "53 hours played" or say 40 hours played with a level 12; then restarted on a new server and am now level 31 with decent harvesting and crafting skills.
Biggest gripe might be all the running from here to there, almost like they want you to cross these areas to get through this quest. Animals fall through some terrain when killed.
I have not yet done any pvp but I'll get there at some point, I am having fun just drifting around working on gathering and quests.
