Deserves all the praise.

The biggest thing that turned me away from the game was the idea of turn based combat. I actually ended up really enjoying it. The parrying/dodging adds a lot to it.

Actually crazy that this quality of game can be achieved by a smaller team. AAA game studios have a LOT to answer for.

It's tough to recommend the game in it's current state.

The demo had me addicted, Early Access has me wanting to go back to it.

The problem first and foremost is the physics and performance. The physics are so disimilar from the demo it feels like a different game. Damage is taken much more easily, and given more easily too. Kicking an enemy has a good chance to knock them down.

The progression is better, but if I want to play free mode I now have to customise every aspect of the gear I want to play with, which is too much work if I just want to swing a sword about for a bit.

The performance is not great at all.

My recommendation of the game is get it, to support the devs IF you enjoy the demo. I want to believe the devs are going to do right by the community and polish this to where it needs to be. It has a huge amount of potential.

If the game was in a similar state physics and performance wise in 3 months, I'd be annoyed at them for not just delaying it longer.

EDIT: It's been 3 months. Performance is slightly better. Game is still buggy, crashes are frequent and issues with save games are very frequent.
I've played to the end of the game now, it is fun. But once you start getting armour there isn't much more to play for. The Baron armour isn't that much better, and the endgame of getting 1 piece of armour every tournament grows old super quick.

Good game, I like it.

My favourite part is the arena mode. However, the game has taken so long to be completed, that a better version of arena mode in the form of half sword, is almost released.

I never got into the main dungeon crawler game, I just found it too hard to know what do, where to go etc. That's probably a me issue.

Will forever hold a special place in my heart. The mods are what make it.

Made so many friends on this game I honestly can't trace them back to which server I found them on.

Everyone needs to play this, the atmosphere and story is unmatched

All the fun parts of tarkov, with spaceships.
Roadmap looks solid, dev team is interactive with the community.

Seen some complaints about cheaters but not encountered one myself yet.

It is early access and there is some QOL work to be done, but I'd say for now it's worth the price as it is.
