Cronos: The New Dawn surprised me, I expected to enjoy it but I wasn't expecting to love it. The game drips atmosphere, the sound design is incredible and the game play loop is solid, despite a couple hiccups here and there with some repetition in encounters. Exploring a Polish city absolutely decimated by an unexplained biomass, known as 'The Change' is engrossing. There are many secret areas to find, sometimes an obscured door you open with fire, others a diverging path from your objective to break up the linearity. You won't always find a note with interesting lore or new equipment, but every scrap of resource you find gives you the confidence to trudge through the next room, or let you upgrade your gun to make it just that little bit more efficient.

This game isn't perfect, and yet it managed to scratch my itch for survival horror games exactly the way I'd hoped it would. I think Bloober have really managed to hit their stride with this game, here's hoping they decide to make a sequel and give us some answers in this strange world they've created. Until then, if this game appeals to you I recommend you give it a chance.

Splattercat brought me here, and I am incredibly excited to see where this one goes. There is something special about creating a party to adventure with, especially when the diversity of options when creating said party is as high as this one. The exploration to combat loop is very engaging, and with some more polish it will be a great game.

Splattercat showed me this game, bought it immediately. Absolutely love the style and music, gameplay feels good. Skills and levelling are odd but feel nice. Incredibly excited to see where this one goes.

Just noticed that cheeky hint at the catacombs puzzle, you mfers haha.

It's a miracle this even exists, let alone a port for pc was released. Highly addictive and definitely worth the money.

At release, I paid about $14 USD for MGSV: Ground Zeroes, and it's worth more than that. There was a lot of controversy when it first released about the price, and I agree that anything over $40, is asking a little much, despite my previous statement.

The quality of the content you get with Ground Zeroes, granted a lack of quantity, makes it a great introduction into the world and setting of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, as well as gameplay wise, although there are a few slight differences between the two, not all positive unfortunately. Such as reducing the combos for CQC, slightly disapointing. The gameplay in Ground Zeroes is so solid and polished, it handles almost exactly the same as it does in TPP, and not only is it fun and engaging, but it can also be very challenging, giving it a fair amount of replayability.

I put over 20 hours into it, playing the Main Mission on normal and hard, as well as the Side Ops, on normal and some of them on hard and discovering some, but not all, of the collectibles. Realistically, that is over double the play time of most linear AAA titles being released as of late. The gameplay on the new, gorgeous, FOX Engine was worth the money to me at the time, and I recommended it to anyone I knew of who was a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, and I still do, especially so if you played and enjoyed MGSV:TPP.
