CS:GO Review
Well I've put in over 300 hours into this game now, I guess I can put in my two cents.

CS:GO plays slightly different from its Source and 1.6 counterparts. The spray patterns are not random as in Source which makes it more like 1.6 in that regard. The hitboxes are also smaller than Source and from what I've seen, very slightly bigger than 1.6's hit boxes.

Many old CS players have complained about the intensity of the recoil, which is understandable to a degree. The recoil on weapons is generally more intense than previous titles, but it is still learnable and you are able to control it with practice just like the previous games.

Weapons are always being changed in updates, Valve is doing this in order to keep a variety of weapons used instead of the usual M4, AK, AWP all the time. They still are the main weapons and are most commonly used, but very often a weapon will become OP or UP because of updates. It can sometimes be annoying when the update is way off with balance, but it is usually changed quite quikly.

One problem with the game would have to be the competitive servers. They are only 64-tick which is annoying because sometimes when you think you hit somebody, guess what, you apparently didn't. And sometimes I swear the hit registration can be really weird in this game. Aside from that I've experience some rare rubberband lag which might be more common for other people, but is quite rare for me.

I guess I should mention the gun skins too. Like TF2 or Dota or whatever you can find cases to unlock with money for gun skins. It is entirely optional and doesn't effect gameplay in any way that I know of at least. You can also get free common skins just by playing which you can use if you want, but you aren't forced to.

Do I recommend this game? Sure, it's often on sale and pretty fun. If you enjoyed previous Counter Strikes you might not get into it as easily because of some of the changes but I recommend giving it a chance. Just please don't use the P90 and think you are good. As for Valve: Put in some 128 tick servers for competitive.

I'm sorry to all my JC2-MP friends. I wasn't able to participate in the last beta test. Hopefully we can still have some shenanigans in the future. Do I recommend this mod? Hell yeah, it's great. If you own a copy of Just Cause 2 (which is cheap often, so if you don't, what's wrong with you) get this mod. It has come quite a long way since its initial beta, and I hope to see some interesting ideas and changes in the future. I do not recommend going it alone though, try to find a group to play with.
