I used to love this game but more recent updates have had some questionable choices in them. I am especially hurt by Tabitha being made transphobic as of episode 5. I empathize a LOT with her in many ways and while she's Not a Good Person in a number of ways, this change feels wrong and actively does not make me interested in either playing this game again nor want to recommend it anymore.
I've had this game since 2021, before episode 3 released. I've recommended it countless times since then. I won't anymore.

very buggy and has lots of things that either feel unfinished or don't flag properly but also Lae'zal and Shadowheart are gay so forgiven

If you've been in a tight-knit online community, chances are at least a kernel of what's in Videoverse will resonate with you. I felt deep waves of emotion and nostalgia the whole time, both for the online interactions I had as a teen, and the cringey nature of what teenagers could be.

I read the premise of this game and saw the art and was instantly intrigued. Then I played it and was floored. It pulls you in and is creepy and cute and funny and (potentially) gay and I love it. There's so much care put into this game and it really shows. I immediately bought the full package after finishing the first (free!) episode and can't wait for more.
