I've spent approximately 200 hours in Ark. I've played on both Official Servers and Private Servers. I'd recommend finding a private server with a server administrator he enforces rules fairly and is active. From the other players, down to the latency it was significantly a better experience.

As for the game itself. If you enjoy a survival experience with dinosaurs thrown in, this is the game for you. From the crafting, to the leveling system. This is will scratch all of those itches. The building system needs a bit of work, since the structure snapping can get frustrating. I've had to research a few videos to figure out how to build a few things. Other than that, the graphics are gorgeous and it really immerses you in the game. 10/10
