It is slower progressed than other mmos which is mostly designed to feel everything is rushed because they worry constantly about respecting time, then this feeling of accomplishing something in a long run is disappearing. So far on 1 year of Alpha i did not feel any of such rush. Maybe it is a good thing maybe not.

I want to point out people who says its in development for 10 years bla bla. The Unreal Engine 5 switch was done in recently. Most of the game had to be rebuilt from scratch and i believe within that short time it has been done a great job.

Most of the eastern MMOs are going always same path with pay to win and micro transactions. Western ones are struggling and dying or turning into dungeon simulator. Lets hope to give it a chance, at least there is someone cares about this behind rather than a CEO who wants to buy his 3rd yacht. (For now :D )

This is my first review on steam. I do not check much of the reviews or write any to the games but Dofus deserves these moment and feelings needs to fill this little review box for the precious readers of the community.

This is my first mmorpg game that took control over the concept of playing with friends for a very long time. We started in young age with friends from school. Played only F2P for years. Had no option to buy via Kamas by that time. No Credit card or whatsoever.

I remember my father was giving his credit card for one summer to have subscription for 3 months. The most exited summer of my life. Feelings of exploration, all the things we heard and saw on internet now accessible.

This game thought me economy, mathematics, language, strategy, patience.

The battle item drop system is very cool. Pretty much everything is used for something. It made me learn words like feather, beak, snout... These were rich words when you are 13 in school learning english as 2nd language. Teachers were getting suprised :)

The community probably the only place right now that even a toxic player cannot be toxic in this game.

It is the only game that it makes me start again and again.
