I'm very glad I decided to try this using EA Play, as it's not worth spending the asking price on.

I've played every Codemasters F1 release since 2010, and this is easily the worst that's been released. Terrible handling, terrible mushy physics with a throttle pedal you only have to fart on to wheelspin, plus all of the EA gumph which they think appeals to younger players but everyone just hates...

Don't bother, Codemasters peaked with the F1 games before EA took over. The F1 Manager games are a lot better than this and you can't even drive on them.

I can understand why this game is getting a lot of negative reviews, but personally, I'm having a ton of fun!

SOMA is an absolutely fantastic game.

If it is even a game! For me, it actually felt a lot like the expereince of reading a book and visualising the words I'm reading coming alive in my mind, except they were coming alive on my monitor and I was directly controlling the main character.

I finished the story only a short while ago, and I already know I'll be starting the game again and playing from beginning to ending again, which isn't something I do at all often with video games. And for a game I knew next to nothing about before deciding to give it a try, it's quickly shot it's way to the top of my list as best game I've played in 2015.

If anybody is reading this and is on the fence about buying and playing SOMA, I very much hope you decide to get it. It's one of the most unique, interesting and fun games in a world where a lot of other games are just repackaged versions of the same thing that was released a year before.

If I had to rate it: 9.7/10.

This game is awful. Truly awful.

If you already have MotoGP 13, DO NOT BUY 14. It's the same game, it's just been given some new menu's, a few crappy new modes, and updated bike liveries. Everything else is practically identical to MotoGP 13. How it took Milestone a year just to do a few crappy updates is beyond me. Lets do a little breakdown...

The graphics: Awful, worse than '13 and there's even less options.
The UI: Where the hell is the quit button? Non existant. To quit it's CTRL+ALT+DEL.
The handling: No different from '13.
The AI: Still riding as if you aren't on circuit with them.
The biggest problem: The game stutters like crazy. I'm running it on an i7 4770K + GTX 770 OC, yet it's as if every 3 seconds or so it drops to about 15FPS for a few moments, then gets back to normal for 3 seconds, then repeats. This makes it just horrible on the eyes. It's even more obvious in the menu's.

My score: 2/10

If you really want a MotoGP game, buy '13 instead, '14 will make you feel desperately ripped off. Don't consider buying it until it's around £5.
