Crimson Desert looks brilliant in the trailers, but actually playing it is a completely different story. It’s all over the place. One minute it looks properly next-gen, the next it feels like something from the previous generation, especially at night or indoors where the lighting and visuals just fall apart. Even on high or ultra settings it often ends up looking weirdly blurry and smeared, like there’s a soft filter stuck over everything, and the edges of objects are noticeably soft and fuzzy, which makes it look quite ugly and, honestly, like an unfinished game.

Messing about with the graphics settings barely changes anything, so they feel a bit pointless, and somehow ray tracing makes things look worse rather than better. Textures pop in far too often or look low-res up close, and there are constant visual issues like odd colours and broken lighting that completely ruin immersion. Performance is all over the place as well. If you want it to look decent, your FPS drops, but performance mode looks rough, so there’s no fix for this.

On top of that, the controls feel clunky, the story’s forgettable, and the whole thing just lacks polish. It ends up feeling less like a proper AAA release and more like an unfinished, overpriced game that looked far better in the marketing than it does in reality. I’ve got an RTX 5090 and still spent about three hours trying to get it to look decent, which says it all really. Honestly regret buying the Deluxe Edition at full price—this quality just isn’t good enough. I’d say don’t bother at full price, only pick it up if it’s heavily discounted, like 90–99% off.

Many updates but the app still too slow to launch and the Hide Steam Now Playing status still won't work. This app worth nothing, should buy this when in 100% discount.

Micro stutters are every where while driving the train, even with high end PC like mine.

10/10 – "Didn’t think they could break my heart twice, but here we are."

Me: "Alright, I finished Part 1 again before jumping into this. I’m emotionally stable. I’m fine."

The Last of Us Part II: "lol no you’re not."

Man… where do I even start?
Coming straight from Part 1 felt like walking back into a world I thought I understood. And then Part 2 just slapped the controller out of my hands, kicked down the door, and said, "Here’s more pain, you’re welcome."

The characters?
Still insanely good. Ellie feels like someone I actually grew up with at this point. And seeing how everyone changed after the events of the first game? It hits way harder when Part 1 is still fresh in your mind.

The gameplay?
Smooth as butter. Stealth feels more intense, combat feels brutal in a way that made me double-check if I was still playing the same series. Even the infected got an upgrade—like, why are they faster? Who asked for that? Certainly not me.

The story?
Bruh… listen. People can argue about it all day, but as a Part 1 player, the emotional gut punches feel EARNED. It’s messy, it’s painful, it’s human. I paused the game at least three times just to stare at the wall like I was in a dramatic Netflix show.

And the graphics?
Every puddle looked better than my real-life reflection. Kind of rude, honestly.

Final Verdict:
If you played Part 1 and you’re ready to get emotionally wrecked all over again, this is the sequel you deserve.
If you aren’t ready… well, too bad, because this game doesn’t care about your feelings.

10/10 – would cry, rage, love, and replay again.

Graphics: ☑ Reality (On Ultra settings, this is unbeatable) ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad

Performance: ☑ Butter Smooth (Runs perfect on a good rig) ☐ Good ☐ Acceptable ☐ Potato PC might struggle

Story: ☑ Masterpiece ☐ Good ☐ Average ☐ Bad

The Verdict: I just bought Part 2 immediately after the credits rolled. Naughty Dog created a world that feels terrifyingly real, and playing it with everything cranked to the max was immersive as hell.

If you have the PC for it, buy it.
