I absolutely LOVE this game, and it is just the right amount of difficult and fun that you enter that "flow" state. Everything about its atmosphere, its music, its sound, its gameplay is just so well done that I can't help but love all of it.

IF there is anything that I would have to complain about, I simply wish that they would update more frequently. I know that the devs at the Indie Stone want to put as much care, love, and precision into all aspects of their game, but sometimes it leaves me wanting.

Their most recently anticipated "Build 42" is underway, and I cannot wait for it to come out. It introduces domesticated animals like cows, pigs, chickens. New voices, new MASSIVE sections of the Knox map, an entirely new crafting tree, and much more. I am very excited to say the least about what the Indie Stone will do next :) (Also Build 43 will have NPCs! WOOP WOOP)

So before I begin this review, I wanna say that Rockstar did an absolutely spectacular job with the creation of this game. From the sheer size of the map to the tiniest of details with the NPCs, the world for Red Dead 2 is just gorgeous.

Red Dead Online is strange so I'll break this into a pros and cons.

[PROS]
- The level of detail in the map and the NPCs is astounding and I, personally, have never seen this amount of detail put into a game.
- The combat is just amazing. Fighting other players doesn't feel "mechanical" or "robotic" and interacting with them doesn't feel out of place from the rest of the world and the NPCs.
- The economy is actually well balanced. I was a little surprised how nice it was. The weapons aren't too easy to get nor are they super grindy.
- The level of immersion for Red Dead is unparalleled for me. I can't say this enough. It is so beautiful. You can interact with almost anything that you want to and the level of interaction between players is something I've never seen either.
- The community (for the most part) is SO nice. It is wild to think that Red Dead is made by the same devs who made GTA5 and how different these two communities are. Aside from a few bad apples, I'd say that the community is a 9/10
- Starting up in Red Dead is hard. There's no beating around the bush with this one, but after you begin to snowball and continue expanding out you begin to make more and more money faster and faster and that is a rewarding feeling.

[CONS]
- Crashes. Oh my god. The crashes. I can't even begin to talk about how much I despise these crashes. I crash in the middle of fights, I crash while doing bounties, moonshine missions, trading missions. I crash WHILE I'M AFK. I crash before my game even gets to the main menu screen. The two error codes I always get is "Ran out of memory" and "Error Code: FFFFFFF" and I seriously cannot express my hatred enough for these crashes constantly ruining my fun.
- The hackers..... I can understand people cheating and ruining people's days from time to time, but I swear every 1 in 3 lobbies there is a hacker using a global explosive to just grief everyone in the lobby. I don't know how Rockstar hasn't cracked down on this because it's INFESTED this game. Hackers can spawn random treasure boxes in the open and new players will take the treasure from them and get immediately banned because the system detected an irregularity.
- Rockstar has a whole. This game has so much potential. SO MUCH potential. However, Rockstar, from what I've seen, is more focused on the amount of money they're getting from Gold Bar purchases than giving out updates and fixes for this beautiful world. People who get banned from the treasure box hack that I've mentioned above are banned PERMANENTLY and they CAN'T appeal. Along with the irreversible bans, the communication about when the next updates come out are so poor. It would be nice from time to time to actually receive good news about a bug fix or crash fix for their game rather than the next outfit that will cost gold.

All in all, if you can look past the consistent crashes, seemingly endless hackers, and Rockstar's little care for its actual player base then yeah I would say it's a really, really fun game and that's why I would recommend this game to anyone. Playing with your friends in this amazing world is SO much fun. If you are considering getting Red Dead Online then I would say absolutely go for it :)

yea, its pretty good. just wished wildcard would focus more on fixing out bugs and glitches rather than shoveling out a new dlc every couple of months. other than that, this game is actually pretty rad and i love the music.

this game is awesome and the music is even more amazing. the only thing i ask is PLEASE FIX THE CRASHING PROBLEM. i cannot express how annoying it is that i have to fear for all of my progress to be lost every 10 minutes because of the sheer amount of crashes ive already experienced.
