6.5 hours in and we're still half-way in through the game lul. Thankfully progress can be saved and can be continued on later with or without friends. But this game is definitely a whole lotta fun with friends I tell you!

Definitely feels like a passion game inspired by the Homeworld series! Just like the homeworld series, ships can move vertically which does make me feel old considering the age of the Homeworld series lol - old but gold I must say.

The variety does not rival the homeworld series but the campaign scenario certainly was interesting enough for my tastes, so do give this title a chance!

I have a love-hate relationship with this game, no joke.
My experience is mostly going at this solo but I think doing this with a friend or two would be more manageable/enjoyable.

I appreciate the re-run of the expeditions but man, the latest expedition sure was scuffed...
It's literally a mix of the previous expeditions while adding along a bunch of pain-in-the-arse tasks that would make a beginner puke.

Like bruh, despite being experienced in a bunch of aspects in the game already I still struggled to finish the Breach Expedition /tableflip

If anything I am glad that my first expedition was Beachead cause that at least was only a struggle to beginners and would be a breeze for experienced players.

Still, I'd recommend the game because the efforts of the devs on this game are praiseworthy so it's really worth a shot if you're looking for something potentially relaxing to play. It could get stressful if you're trying to last-minute rush an expedition though so I'd recommend getting started early then going at it on a relaxed pace.

This game is hard. Period.

Based on my experience playing the game on "Easy" difficulty. Easy in the sense that I set two out of 3 difficulty parameters to Easy, and despite that the game still feels like I'm playing on the supposed Normal difficulty where I still encountered like 3 difficult situations where I failed a few times and had to load a save.

That said, the difference between Easy and Normal setting on the Alien HP must be night and day. You must be wondering why and the answer is Acid Alien Blood. Those aliens? If you kill them while being close to your marines they'd do AOE damage and having more than one alien get close is a big risk to them instantly downing one of your marines which is a real pain in the arse...

Long story short, if you like difficult games this is the game for you!
If not then I'd recommend against it. Cause as of the writing of this review, I don't know if my campaign would be sustainable until the last mission ._. (cause it gets harder and depending on how you approach each "day" in the campaign and how many days you take until each mission)

Available on release day in GeForce Now! Seriously, why won't more games do this?
You may be asking yourself why the game's asking price seems a tad bit high but there's many good reasons why:
- The theme is Command and Conquer series inspired while music seriously gives off that banger Red Alert 2 feeling.
- Campaign's wonderfully fleshed out and I even dare say that the quality is comparable/close to that of good ol' Westwood RTS games like Red Alert 2.
- Campaign is enriched cinematics, briefing narration, tech tree, fleshed out scenario, RA2-inspired music, and a wonderful RTS experience!

All-in-all, I truly felt that this game was made with lots of love from the devs in that the game has a "soul" unlike most games these days. So by all means, please give it a try!

A must have for every single feels train enjoyer! I like how both FLAC and MP3 are Readily available in this one, you don't even need to use ffmpeg or some other utility to perform file conversions.

Let this collection take you back to that time once more, that sorrowful yet strangely beautiful tale.

After 7 hours I finally managed to beat the game /tableflip. Apparently it took me long enough to figure out that it isn't all about having a big deck but all about having a small enough set where you could have a healthy rotation going despite the odds of drawing.

This game doesn't have a separate discard pile and a draw pile which did make it quite tricky.

Cleared this offline a few years ago. Story is bland but the gameplay is quite enjoyable if you're into mindlessly beating hordes of zombies.

Man, this really takes me back... to those days where being able to play this FPS game in 2007 at an internet cafe was so mindblowing and so much fun that it infuriated me whenever some other kid touched my campaign progress during the weekdays hahaha; twas too young to know how to use the chapter select function but yeah, good good times!
